This place is first class for the price. Al and Terry were extremely helpful with information about the locality. Room was spotless and breakfast was sufficient. We cannot recommend the sea coast inn highly enough.

This is a great motel and the owner Terri is so accommodating. She organised our rental car, lent us a Navman, gave us an itinerary for driving around Cape Cod and even put in a load of washing for us! We couldn't have asked for more. The rooms are fantastic, with a little kitchenette and lovely bathroom and the location is right in the centre of Hyannis. Deserves all it's excellent ratings.
My wife (Jackie) and I have just returned from our second stay at the Seacoast Inn. Our first time there was four years ago and all we keep asking ourselves now is “why did we wait four years to return? What the hell were we thinking?” Terri and Al practice what other hotels can only preach; while other hotels claim how important the customer is, Terri and Al don’t say a word, they just get on and PROVE how important the customer is. While other hotels parade their accolades and awards around; Terry and Al just get on with the job of keeping the customer happy. In fact, Terry and Al are so unassuming; it’s difficult to track down any major sign of their Tripadvisor awards. I believe that is because they know that any award won is always a sign of past work and they will NOT rest on any laurels, the next person through the door MUST be looked after and MUST have a great time. They constantly strive to improve the experience for the guest (I have too many examples to list).
Think about it, and ignoring all their number one positions for a moment, a small motel in Hyannis was third in the Tripadvisor category of best service in the WORLD in 2011. It has no restaurant, it has no bar (but Terri and Al will always direct you to the nearest good ones), yet it achieved an accolade that many six and seven star luxury hotels in Dubai and Intercontinentals and Mandarin Orientals worldwide could not.
Cape Cod is a great place for a holiday/vacation; staying at the Seacoast makes it a fabulous place for a vacation, completely stress free thanks to Terri and Al. When will we return? Well, it won’t be as long as four years before we do, that’s for certain!
My wife and I took a mini-trip (3 days) to Cape Cod and booked the Seacoast based on the reviews in TripAdvisor. We certainly weren't let down. The SeaCoast is the perfect "setting off" spot for discovering what this beautiful area has to offer.
Based on Al and Terri's recommendations we booked whale watching on the Dolphin Fleet (saw 21 whales -- extremely informative with a marine biologist on board on the microphone the entire trip) in Provincetown. Highly recommended for anyone.
We also took the ferry to Nantucket; another great suggestion (we didn't have time to hit Martha's Vineyard but elected to go with the more "historical" island). We rented bikes ($25 for four hours) and took a 14 mile bike tour, one of the highlights of our trip.
If you are a beach person the National Parks have some outstanding spots and I'm sure Al and/or Terri will gladly inform you of them.
All in all, a very folksy holiday with great hosts.
My husband and I along with another couple spent a week at this wonderful inn. We can't say enough positive things about our experience there. Al and Teri are the best!!! Your wish is their command!! They would provide you with a lap top, GPS, beach chairs, towels, buggy boards, and coolers. Each morning they helped us plan our day trip along with various discounted tickets and recommendations of places to see and dine at. Their knowledge of the Cape is superior. We have never stayed at a place where we felt such warmth and caring. They turned a good vacation into a not to be forgotten experience. They even gave us treats to take with us when we checked out!
The location is in the middle of all the cape activities. The rooms were very clean and inviting. We highly recommend staying here. You will not regret it!!!!
Teri and Al (the owners) really made our stay extraordinary!!! They helped us with every little detail. We only needed to ask a question about where to go, eat, drive, do and they immediately gave us tons of ideas, coupons, suggestions. My husband forgot distilled water for his CPAP machine and they immediately went to get some for him. We wanted to go to a beach and they gave us free beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and towels. When I mentioned that I would like to try boogey boarding next time, they went out and purchased one for me!!! They also let us use (free of charge) a laptop computer and GPS for our drives. They were really like staying with a very warm and loving family. We couidn't stop talkng about how great they were and how they "made" our stay on Cape Cod. I've stayed at much fancier places in the world, but never experienced the service and genuine caring exhibited by these two wonderful people. Thanks so much, Teri and Al. And thanks for the wonderful "good bye" gifts you gave all of us (chocolate coverered cranberries and salt water taffy!!! What else can I say. If you go to Hyannis, do yourself a favor and book your stay here. You won't regret it. We even took a photo of them to remember their wonderful faces. I just can't say enough about these two terrific people. Our trip would have been much less enjoyable if we had stayed anywhere else.
