Family came to visit, including with kiddies under 5. After doing research on TA and making a few calls, I realized that many bed and breakfasts, boutique style hotels and vacation rentals do not allow children under 12. So, a chain was our best alternative and so happy we found this via TA reviews!

It's at a very convenient location, very clean, and good value. Set back away from the main highway, it was a quiet place to stay. Parking is also free. Booked a standard and got upgraded to a suite. Room was spacious and clean. There's a sitting area, mini bar/fridge sink area, and a spacious bathroom with vanity area.

They also offer snacks/coffee midday and a decent complimentary breakfast. They also seem tolerant of "energetic" kids. I would recommend this place if you're coming with the family. For a chain, and the price paid, I was very satisfied.

We just got back from a two day trip in the Berkshires. We stayed one night at the Hampton in Lenox. When traveling up Rt. 7 towards the hotel, I was a little dissappointed to see most hotels located right on the highway - not very scenic. I liked that when we saw the sign for the Hampton, we noticed a long driveway to the hotel. Not the most scenic location but at least it isn't right on the highway. Check in was quick and very friendly. Room was immaculately clean. Plenty of room for the 3 of us in one 2 queen room. There is a little 'store' downstairs for necessities, snacks and frozen dinners. There is coffee, tea, fresh fruit and cookies available at all times. Nice touches. We used the microwave in the breakfast area to heat up our dinner. Pool is small but we had fun. Breakfast was good - coffee, juice, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit - more choices than we need - so very sufficient for us. We plan to return in the future

My wife and I stayed in the Lenox Hampton Inn based on reviews in TripAdvisor. We stayed in this location so we could be located in close proximity to Jiminy Peak. Our goal was to enjoy a convenient no-frills weekend of skiing. The Inn is about 15 miles away from Jiminy Peak. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. Overall, we were pleased with the rooms and the service at the hotel. The hotel is very basic with few amenities, as is the case with most Hampton Inns. There is no bar or restaurant. There is a free continental breakfast in the morning, but I would find another place to eat. If you drive about two miles into the town of Lenox there is a place called "Haven" that serves some of the best breakfast ever. They use local farm fresh ingredients and make everything to order. My wife regularly enjoys Eggs Benedict and stated that the Haven made it better than any other restaurant...ever. Serving it over Ham and Gruyere biscuits instead of English muffins makes the difference. You should definitely check out Haven for breakfast or lunch. I can't understand why Haven cannot be reviewed as a restaurant in Lenox, as it is fantastic. For dinner, we went to Jonathan's Bistro, which was pretty good. The ambience and service were good and the food was creative and well executed for the most part. None of the main dishes really matter as long as you get the potato chip appetizer...hot homemade potato chips with bacon and a blue cheese dipping sauce. Couple that with a Samuel Smith beer (Jonathan's is only beer and wine) and you won't really care about dinner. Other than Jonathan's, I would recommend going into the town of Lenox for dinner...Vesuvio and Dakota are pretty scary places when you walk in. I wouldn't say that we are snobs, but neither of those places were very inviting. I can't speak for the food because we only walked in and looked at the menu.

We went with another couple ( 4 adults and 4 kids ages 4-8) and stayed 4 nights. New, clean, and very nice staff. We stayed in a Studio sweet. Now I don't really think a studio should ever be called a sweet, however we did not catch this when we booked (our bad). We had stayed in other Hamptons where the sweet was a sweet (two rooms). You know one for you and one for the kids on the pull out.
I had two real complaints one was very minor the other sort of mentioned in another review. T
The toaster was so slow log jam occurred every morning and it only got worse when half the toaster stopped working.
The pool is small (with no whirlpool). The level of sound in the pool area is like being at a rock concert. with a moderate group in the pool (kids etc) conversations more than 6 feet apart are not possible, at all. I have never been to a pool area so loud with so few people (acoustic issue).
We have stayed in several of these new Hamptons and as suggested it is pretty much what we expected.

Love this hotel. The two person whirlpool was just what the doctor ordered to get rid of the winter blues. My husband and I only went for a quick overnight and for 169 dollars a night I would definately stay there again!

Great place to stay but like other reviews there were alot of kids.

Booked a king suite for a long weekend and there are two reasons that I gave this hotel a 4 instead of a 5. The pool is quite small so if there are a lot of families, it's quite busy. The AM breakfast buffet is included in the room rate and while they did their best to provide a variety, it's OK. Still a good value for the price.

This is a nice Hampton Inn. It's new and clean. It is close to many different activities and restaurants. If you are traveling with kids, this is a good choice.
