My wife and I stayed at the Gateways for an extended weekend an absolutely wonderful stay. The property was charming and our room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and everything was fresh. Michele and Eiran the innkeepers were the perfect hosts and went out of their way on several occasions to ensure our visit to the inn and the area was enjoyable. We would both recommend the Gateways to anyone considering a visiting to this area. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: The room to request without question is the Miranda Suite. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed at the Gateways Inn this past weekend for a night and it was lovely and restful. Michele and Eiran the proprietors are lovely, friendly and helpful. They made us feel right at home. On the Saturday night there was a lively buzz in the lounge and bar area with a number of guests enjoying beautiful piano playing and singing team. Service overall was friendly and responsive to requests. Michele and Eiran are extremely knowledgeable on the local goings-on and history of the community. Our room was spotless, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was fresh and filling. We would stay again if back in Lenox.

I can't wait to go back to the Gateway Inn. What a beautiful inn. The room was just as beautiful as the website - if not better. I was so impressed with the breakfast. Everything was fresh and homemade. We are already planning our next visit!

My husband and I stayed at the Gateways Inn on Thursday, October 10-13. We had a wonderful time. Michele and Eiran Gazit, the innkeepers and owners, went out of their way to make sure that their guests were all well taken care of. When we made the reservation, Michele was very helpful in with informing us about the area, things to do as well as reserving tickets to Shakespeare and company theater, making reservation at their restaurant for Friday Night as well as making reservation to the local top restaurant Alta for us for Saturday night(for our Birthday and Anniversary celebration). When we arrived, the Champaign and strawberries that my husband ordered before our arrival were there waiting in our room. It was one of the busiest weekends of the month so all the rooms were sold out. Because there was a cancelation for the Rosalind room, Eiran graciously upgraded us. Dinner at the Gateways Inn was delicious and the breakfast unbelievably awesome and healthy! The assortment of gourmet cheeses (at least 5-7), homemade wheat croissants, homemade yogurt and many other wonderful treats, made breakfast something to look forward to each morning. I could not get enough of Michele’s homemade granola, which I ended up buying 2 jars to take home with me. Each night we ended up at the Gateways Inn lounge where there was always different musicians to listen to that made it so relaxing. Paula did an excellent job taking care of us and ensuring that our drinks and dessert were perfectly matched. The staff, food and the ambiance was so perfect we felt like we were in another world... which met our expectations for our get-away. Michele and Eiran made our time stay in the Berkshires a beautiful and memorable one. It was a pleasure staying at The Gateways Inn. We look forward to future Gateways Inn experiences...which may include the weekend culinary experience lessons for two….

Stayed at this beautiful Inn for 2 nights while visiting the USA, we drove up from New York and found Gateway Inn to be the perfect tonic from the Big Apple. we were greeted as if we were long time friends and were treated the same throughout our short stay, accommodation, food and advice on what to see and where to eat could not have been better
Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. will defiantly stay longer next time

This is just an amazing place. Exceptional staff, exceptional food, plenty of ambience if you just sit in the lounge or sit at the small but more than adequate bar. Friendly, courteous staff with attention to detail but not oppressive or stifling by checking on you every five minutes. I hope we can return soon.

The Gateways Inn stands out above others, partly due to the gracious hospitality of the owners, Michelle and Eiran. My visit over a peak autumn season weekend and lasting through the early weekdays was extremely pleasant. The weekend breakfasts, when the Inn was full, were sumptuous with fresh fruit, cheeses, warm breads, and a special entree. But they were also lovely during the weekdays when only 1-2 other couples shared the breakfast room -- I think they serve the best coffee anywhere! I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities offered in the room, including a warm robe and slippers, and a gas fireplace to quickly warm the room in the morning and evenings. The fully stocked bar and the evening wine bar with live entertainment was a bonus -- entering the Inn in the evenings was delightful as people were so gay and the place so lively. I highly recommend the Gateways (and I have stayed at other B&B's and hotels in the Lenox/Pittsfield area to compare!).
