We were in Lenox July 4 for a James Taylor concert at Tanglewood and looking for a light lunch. We walked into the Tavern and loved the whole atmosphere. It was crowded with people of all ages and many enthusiastically watching the World Cup Soccer matches. We were told there would be a wait and ordered drinks at the bar. There is a good selection of reasonably priced beers on tap and the service was great for a busy day. Madeline, who appeared to be in charge of seating, was really working hard to accommodate the guests. We were seated in a timely manner and ordered a light lunch from the calm and cool waitress. My strawberry salad was delicious. The serving was a good size and the price was less than $10. My husband had a tuna melt with sweet potato fries and said they were excellent. The service was very good. We were allowed to eat and linger as we liked despite how busy the Tavern was. Probably not a good date spot, is fairly noisy with lots of TV's and sports on. We had been there before and had a similar positive experience. Would definitely go back. The bill was under $25 for lunch and two drinks. Can't beat that for value!

i just had to try this, sounded unusual and it was great dish, well worth it. I would give it 5 stars but I tried a bite of the hamburger my friend ordered and it was just mediocre. French fries were really good also.

Four of us went for a few dinners and light dinner... this is definitely pub style--drink some beer, order a burger or pizza. One disappointment was I had to work my way down the beer list to get to one they actually had--a bit unusual for a tavern/pub. Things were quite busy on a Thursday evening... and there was a diverse crowd--couples, families with kids, "regulars"... Our waitress (Nicole) was extremely pleasant and accommodating if a bit frazzled... we wanted the toppings from a white pizza but some "red" on it--no problem! We enjoyed the meal and would definitely return again--burgers looked enticing. Four drinkers with a shared appetizer and pizza came up to a $60 check (plus tip) which is not bad in Lenox--a tourist haven/trap with prices in general that could be considered the "high price spread."

Good pub food and the staff are great friendly people. They usually have a few good microbrews on tap and they make any drink to your liking.

We enjoyed a great meal at the Olde Heritage Tavern. A warm pub atmosphere was made all the more pleasant by the friendly wait staff. Video monitors in the bar and pleasant outdoor seating offered pleasant choices to choose from. The menu offered standard pub far with several interesting seasonings available. We were in the mood for burgers and their eight-ounce special did not disappoint. Overall, generous portions are offered at very modest prices. A return trip to the Olde Heritage Tavern is definitely in our future.
