Although a year old, its still a "new place" to the locals and often uncrowded (unlike nearby "Shots", which is frequently crowded but can't handle more than 5-6 people). We ordered four different breakfasts, and each was superb - French toast, eggs, pancakes, meats, etc. . Real warmed maple syrup. Great presentation (which doesn't always matter for breakfast) but enhanced a great meal. All local dairy, produce, etc. Didn't take very long. and great service, too. Only one suggestion: the coffee was pretty bland- maybe a French or Italian roast option would be a nice addition, but it wasn't as bad as Lenox Coffee, which claims to be a coffee haven (somehow Lenox Coffee"dark roast" was bland yet bitter). All in all, Spoon has cool decor, good staff, killer food. Worth tracking down on a side street. The lunch menu looked great but we couldn't get back to try it out. A "don't miss" when in the Berkshires.

This little gem is the best place in Lenox for breakfast/brunch. Fairly new, but a very welcome alternative to the overpriced Haven around the corner. Having had brunch there now (and hearing from friends who've had breakfast and lunch), I can tell you that the food is excellent- kinda high-end diner, with great eggs benedict (crab option as well), pancakes, etc. All the food i've had has been fabulous.
Atmosphere here is very laid-back and classic 'friendly diner'.The tables are waited by staff and is fantastic. You feel welcomed from the minute you are in the door. The even have ice cream and wifi!! Reasonably priced ($25 for a large brunch for 2). My only small gripe would be that the wood chairs could use a cushion or two, but hey, wood is good, right? All in all, great place.

I've eaten breakfast several times at this little gem - the breakfast menu is creative, focuses on local food and is really tasty! The ambiance is warm with very pleasing earthy textures, bamboo floor, warm woods & marble. The ice cream for dessert is also quite deelish!! I've eaten the breakfast tacos as well as the poach eggs with quinoa & the breakfast risotto. All very well executed. You've gotta try it out!!
