Jae's Asian Bistro may be trying to do too much. Their menu is about as broad a range of varied Asiain cuisine that you'll find, but none of what we tried was exceptional.
The sushi is average. Relatively small portions of good but not great quality sushi. They were out of uni the night we were there, often a good test of the source of a restaurant's fish.
We tried the vegetable steamed dumplings which were gummy and had a stuffing that none in our party enjoyed.
The main courses were better, and the chicken lettuce wrap was especially good.
Service was OK, but you can tell they are still getting it together. The restaurant had been open for only a week when we went there.
You can order Thai, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and more here. I would much prefer it they would focus on doing more with less.
Some of the downside may be growing pains. We're still willing to give it another try down the road.
