“Delightful pre-concert dinner in Lenox”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

We decided to try this new restaurant for an early dinner on August 16 before an evening concert at Tanglewood, and were happy that we did. The blackened tuna appetizer that my husband had was memorable for its appearance and its taste with its accompaniment of a sauce containing wasabi was perfection. We also enjoyed our main courses of sea bass and pork loin, followed by delicious desserts. Portions were quite ample, which is often not the case in fine dining. Service was friendly and efficient, with our only comments being that the servers' uniforms of jeans aren't flattering to all, and that a "No problem" might be replaced by a more positive one such as "I'd be glad to" in such an elegant setting.

We're glad you enjoyed your pre-Candide dinner. The Berkshires in the summer is truly the best of all possible summer worlds, as Voltaire would say. And we strive to be the best of all possible pre-concert restaurants! Thank you very much.

“One of my favorites in the Berkshires”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Whenever I am in the Berkshires I make a reservation for dinner at Table Six- outdoors in the warmer mild weather and indoors during the cooler months. The food, the décor, the service and the view are all spectacular.

“Friendly, helpful staff and delicious food!”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

I recenly had dinner at Table Six with my elderly mother before attending a performance at Tanglewood. The staff was friendly and very helpfull with my mother's mobilityissues from the start (especially Salvatore...thank you so much for being a human railing!). We thoroughly enjoyed every course of the prix fixe menu - the beef tenderloin fllet was among the best I've ever had. We had a lovely table with a view of the veranda and The Berkshires. The only minor complaints would be that the horseradish mashed potatoes weren't very "horseradish-ey" and the high ceilings in the dining room made for a somewhat loud atmospher, but those issues were minor and certainly didn't ruin the experience. I hope to get back to Lenox and Table Six again for another delicious meal!

Thank you! Many of our summer guests find us the perfect dining space to get to Tanglewood quickly. And on evenings when there are Tanglewood fireworks the veranda is the best place in town to enjoy them. Our view down the hill towards the Stockbridge Bowl places the fireworks display at the forefront. We look forward to seeing you again. Your comments are much appreciated.

“You get what you pay for!!!”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

I have already returned to Table Six at the Kimble Inn twice this summer and have recommended it to my friends. The outdoor dining is lovely and the servers were very friendly. The atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for.

Both the food and the wine has been excellent each time I have visited. The "small plate" menu was perfect to sample different options.

The 'small plates' menu has been very popular on Monday and Tuesday evenings, when Chef Reda has his well-earned days off. We're thrilled that you are a regular customer and look forward to your return.

“A lovely dinner experience”
Reviewed 17 August 2014 via mobile

There is much fine dining to be had in the Berkshires and of course in NYC, but finding an excellent overall dinner "experience" is a rare encounter in America, particularly on the East Coast. Fortunately, we stumbled onto the opportunity to have this exquisite experience last night at Table Six.
From cocktails to main course in the peaceful and elegant setting on the veranda - complete with rustic candle lights and oversized pillows on outdoor couches - to dessert and tea in the quirky English piano room (change of scenery offered to us late night when the temperature dropped); the whole experience was delightful and magical.
The food itself was delicious, and generous portions were presented for each of the courses within the prix fix. The polenta and mushroom appetizer course was so fresh and delicious it was difficult to leave room for the next course... But I still polished off my sumptuous braised short ribs because it was just so good! When we moved inside, I was able to savor my key lime tart with a nice cup of tea accompanied by live piano music in the drawing room.
Overall a wonderful experience! The only caveat is that service was a little slow by NYC standards (normal by French standard - where our very professional waiter who is currently here studying hospitality management is from). But hey, this is the Berkshires - where else would you rather be but savoring every moment of this experience?

We are really glad you enjoyed the west European coast experience. We have a very nice partnership with the Vatel school in France and its students. We hope you return soon.
