“A real find!”
Reviewed 20 January 2014 via mobile

We were pleased to discover this restaurant in a converted barn. The service was friendly and prompt. Everything we ordered was delicious - even side dishes, such as broccoli with garlic, polenta, potato croquettes, were thoughtfully prepared. We were almost too full for dessert, but managed to share the house dessert of cherry, pistachio and chocolate ice cream
in a chocolate shell. Delicious. We will be back.

“A sleeper”
Reviewed 7 December 2013

The food s excellent and Kellan, our favorite waiter is always fun, but the music and the menu rarely changes. A year or so ago they introduced the occasional special and included a salad with the meal.

Still the food is very good, the pastas the veal dishes and one of the new offering the Francheses. They do sole and chicken, etc. Excellent.

“Nice Italian eatery”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

Felt like an upscale restaurant. Monday night meant it was really quiet as there were only a few other people in the restaurant. I imagine that changes at the weekend. The waiter was very professional, making sure not to clear the plates away until all at the table had finished. That doesn't happen very often. Food was excellent.

“Manhattan-Quality Italian on Pittsfield Road!”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

This white-linen restaurant is a real find for lovers of Italian food. I had medallions of chicken with portabella mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes in a marsala wine sauce that was equal to anything I've had in the best Italian restaurants in NYC. My wife's seafood dish was excellent as well, though the clams were very small. Side dishes of polenta and potato croquette, with bits of garlic-flavored broccoli were excellent. An unexpected surprise in the Berkshires, where many restaurants charge top prices but don't always deliver quality dishes to match. Highly recommended!

“Great food, great atmosphere, authentic food”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

This place has authentic Italian food, that is very reasonably priced. I had the shrimp fra diablo.
It was really good, with some large shrimp! They have white table clothes,. and they bring you water right away to your table. I had their mozerella onion soup, which was a close call for French Onion. The broth was really flavorful The music was nice soft Italian, with the perfect lighting. The tables are adequeately spaced apart from each other. Very reasonably priced.
I would go there again.
