We have been guests at the Garden Gables every summer for over ten years. It serves as our "base of operations" for all of the cultural activities in the area. We typically go to Tanglewood on Saturday night, after having dinner at one of the Lenox restaurants. Unfortunately, getting a Saturday night reservation in Lenox can be difficult, and most of the restaurants are noisy and jammed with people all heading to Tanglewood. The Garden Gables offers its guests the option of having dinner at the Inn. Advance reservations are required, and the menu choices have to be made in advance. We have found that the food, service, and quiet ambiance is as good as any of the local restaurants, without the stress of competing with other diners to finish in time to beat the traffic rush to Tanglewood. We highly recommend this option to Garden Gables guests the next time you visit the area. (BTW: their breakfasts are great as well).
