Had a really nice young waitress - they had the brick oven for cooking their pizzas which is great. Would go there again.

After a long car trip, arrived in town late for business tomorrow in the Berkshires. Checked into our hotel, but we still needed to get dinner. Tried a Pittsfield restaurant some of us had enjoyed before, but this was Tuesday, and they close at 9:00 PM on Tuesday nights. We asked, and they recommended Arizona Pizza.

Back down the highway, past our hotel, and there was Arizona Pizza, brightly lit with lots of signs outside for specials. We walked in, were shown to a table, and asked about drinks. One of the specials is $1 drafts. I'm not a big beer drinker, but why not?

The $1 special is Rolling Rock, best known for their little 6 ounce bottles. But these weren't skimpy drinks. These were full-sized glasses of beer, full to the brim.

Arizona's menu is actually several menus folded together – the regular menu, a color insert of specials, and yet a third menu. We were talking while perusing the menu. The server came over to take our order. We weren't ready yet. “OK, “ she said, “but don't wait too long. We close at 10:00 PM.” The Berkshires are not a good place for late night dining.

We order, and hot platters arrive soon. One of the specials for me – a mix with chicken, mushrooms, ans broccoli over pasta. Meat Lover's Baked Ziti for companion #1, and a veggie-topped wood fire pizza for companion #2. All was very good, especially late at night after not eating since noon.

Turns out that, except for a fast-food place, Arizona Pizza Co. is the closest restaurant to the hotel where we usually stay, and is the sit-down restaurant with the latest closing time. We'll be back.

We chose this place for dinner only because it was very close to our hotel and did not seem like the more expensive places in the area. We did not have pizza. What we did have was OK - not bad, but not exceptional. Service was very slow once it was apparent that we were not here for alcoholic beverages. What we were served was close (but not quite) what we ordered. But it was not worth sending back.

I went here with my family and I got the unlimited soup, salad and cheesy bread for 6.99 the soups were amazing..the salad good and YUM to the cheesy bread! The kids got personal pizzas..and my hubby got the bread bowl of soup and they were all jealous over my wonderful meal! They were very accomodating to our allergies and were very careful to make sure our food did not have anything that can make my daughter sick! Will def go back for lunch!! The waitress was wonderful.. a little slow because she was the only one there. But it was a great meal!! :)
