Nice place to relax after intense days with relatives. Quiet neighborhood good for walking.Attentive service including carrying luggage upstairs and offering an extra room even when fully booked. Asked for a bacon and eggs breakfast, received an exceptional eggs and bacon souffle! Soft beds, wonderful skylights, just the right amount of decorations, fast hot water both bath and shower, excellent coffee in the morning. Will definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: All three rooms are excellent, the pool room is the largest. We stayed in the Follen Hill Room.

Morgans Rest is a lovely bed and breakfast in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Lexington, MA. We had a clean, cozy room with a private bath and a delicious breakfast which included homemade oat bread and a bacon and cheese souffle.
Morgan's is conveniently located within a short drive to the red line into Boston and very reasonably priced. Our hosts were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend Morgans Rest to fellow travelers.

Room Tip: I was traveling with a friend and appreciated having a room with 2 single beds.

This charming B&B in a quiet neighborhood was the owner's childhood home and is filled with antiques and oriental carpets. The family uses the first floor while guests stay upstairs. We stayed in the room at the front of the house with dormer windows. The double bed, which is against the wall, was a little tight for 2 people. There is a larger room. Alix served a healthy breakfast in the lovely dining room. Be aware, if you have difficulty with stairs, there are brick steps up to the front door and stairs to the bedrooms.

We stayed here 3 days while visiting son in Arlington. The location was right off the main road into Arlington. Alix is a great hostess. Had a great breakfast each day. We stayed in the Follen Rm which was perfect for us. Beds were very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great! Will definitely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed for 4 days in May 2013 while visiting our daughter in Somerville. The location and accommodations were perfect for us. This B & B is in a beautiful setting and the little extra drive into the city was well worth it due to the cost savings, peace, tranquility, and wonderful personal attention given by Alix. We will be back when we return for our next visit.

Alix was the perfect hostess, and her house is charming and spotless. Alix didn't mind that I appeared early for morning coffee, and her teenaged daughter made us scones one afternoon. We were supplied with driving directions and maps, recommendations, even an extra coat due to chilly weather. Breakfast was varied and healthy. She even did some research for us on the Internet. My friend and I were absolutely delighted with our stay.

My husband and I stayed at Morgan's rest in October of 2012 (I'm a little late writing my review, Lol) and we will surely make it a point to go back in the future. We stayed two nights in a wonderful room with a skylight and pool table ( I can't remember the name right at this moment). The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the mornings :)

Alexandra, the hostess, was such a pleasure to talk to. She gave us good tips about things to do and places to eat, and gave some history about Morgan's rest and their ownership. It was easy to get lost in our conversations with her as well as the other guests.

Though Alix was very hospitable, she also made it a point to leave us to our privacy. The home was quiet, peaceful, with the aromas of her most excellent cooking skills! Breakfasts are served buffet style so there's no hurry or rush to get up at any certain time.

All in all, Morgan's Rest gets five stars from us!!!!
