We recently visited the town of Marblehead for the first time ( and won’t be the last ! ) We chose to stay at the Arbor House for 2 nights and were incredibly pleased with our choice. Jennifer had thought of everything in making our stay one of the very best. Welcoming, cozy, comfortable accommodations complete with her talent of home made breakfast items that were absolutely delicious. This is a bed and breakfast where everything is right there, complete with warming instructions . You do not need to get dressed nor leave your room at a designated time to eat breakfast. The neighborhood was fantastic and a very short walk to a rocky beach. So beautiful. This is the place to stay in Marblehead. It truly was one of the best experiences ever in so many positive ways. Highly recommend it.

My husband and I recently had a wonderful stay at Arbor House. It was perfect in every way. The suite, a studio apt really, is beautifully decorated; has the most comfortable bed; and has everything one needs. Jennifer is the perfect hostess and an incredible cook. She asked about dietary preferences ahead of time and made us everything gluten-free, as she makes everything herself, even the yogurt. I never knew Gluten free could taste so good. All of the food from the welcoming snacks to breakfast were plentiful and scrumptious. The house is located in a quiet, lovely residential area minutes away from historic Marblehead, Swampscott, and Salem. Jennifer helped us with directions and other advice. Our stay could not have been more wonderful. Thank you, Jennifer. We look forward to a return visit.

My wife took me to Marblehead, MA for my birthday and we spent 2 great days at the Arbor House. The inn has only one room. The room was small but very comfortable; in an 1890's house on a residential street. There is a walkway to the beach but the Nor'easter which blew in the day before and the resultant huge waves kept us off the shore.
Jennifer laid out delicious home-made cookies when we arrived and sweet tangerines the next afternoon. The refrigerator was already well stocked with items for our first breakfast including granola, yogurt, fabulous asparagus quiches, organic bread, great coffee, fresh fruit, and fresh orange juice. Jennifer baked everything herself including the granola and yogurt. She apologized that the organic bread was store-bought but the loaf she tried to make didn't rise properly. She even baked delicious crackers which we had with very good cheddar cheese the next afternoon after exploring Marblehead. If I seem to obsess about the food it is because Jennifer is a fabulous baker and her breakfasts really made the trip memorable.
Jennifer and Dave were very gracious hosts; interesting and knowlegable about a town they have lived in for many years. We look forward to returning soon.

Jennifer and Dave are extremely good hosts and the accommodation was very comfortable. Very nice food provided for breakfast in the small kitchenette and it was great to be able to make coffee/tea when required. Super location and everything thought about. Only slight reservation were the several plants in the accommodation - we personally would prefer less as they do encourage insects.

The Arbor House B&B is situated just outside of Marblehead in a quiet neighbourhood with a stunning ocean view. Jennifer and David, the hosts, are warm and welcoming people who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. You will be pampered with home-made yogurt and jams, organic juices and snacks, and other culinary delicacies out of Jen's kitchen. The room is spacious and light, and instantly feels like home. A private bathroom and a living area with TV, audio equipment, as well as a kitchenette provide for anything you could ever need. The private patio is a haven for listening to bird-song. A truly wonderful experience! Recommended for couples.
