We stayed at the Inn after spending the day walking around Rockport, Gloucester and Marblehead. It was easy to find and comfortable and romantic. The staff was friendly and wArm as well. There were a lot of great restaurants to choose from in the area for dinner as well as a wonderful Italian pastry shoppe for a dessert! We would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I was in town for a function and didn't want to have to drive home. What a great find the Marblehead Inn was for us to stay at. Very nice people, very nice property, beautiful home with very nice rooms and new bathroom. Enjoyed the experience very much and would recommend to others.

It was my first experience in a B & B. The house was beautiful and well maintained, the room cozy and the breakfast was more than enough. The hosts were pleasant and helpful and the guests I met were returning lodgers. Also it was quiet and peaceful.

I found Marblehead Inn by coincidence, simple because I drove by and saw this pretty house with lights on the outside.

It was such a wonderful experience and I couldn't be happier that my friend and I got so lucky to find this Inn. We slept like babies and we had the best breakfast in the morning!

Karlene is very welcoming and very helpful, since we had never been in the area and didn't know where to go and she gave us a map and gave us great advice.

This b&b is housed in a lovely old Victorian mansion on one of the main streets in town. The rooms in the inn are large and nicely decorated. The multi-story porch on the back of the house and the back yard could use some attention, and we had a suite that included a microwave, refrigerator and sink, but had no dishes, cookware or silverware. Overall though it is a lovely inn with lots of charm and the managing couple are very nice. Located just a couple of miles down the street is the more historic part of Marblehead with its picturesque streets and immaculately kept 18th and 19th century homes. There is lots of great shopping in interesting shops and the drive around Marblehead Harbor is absolutely beautiful!

Room Tip: The railing going upstairs is original and, therefore, lower that those built today so if you have a...

Thank you, Leslie. We're glad that you and your mom enjoyed your stay. While you were here we were in the process of restocking the suites and I apologize for the fact that you didn't have everything you would have liked in yours. Had you let us know, we would have been happy to provide whatever you needed. However, you'll be happy to know that all the suites now have new glassware, dishes, and utensils, and we hope you'll come back and see for yourself.

Extremely comfortable and well maintained B&B. The Inn keepers were very helpful and informative, anything you needed pertaining to accommodations was taken care of, quickly and efficiently. The continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful, the coffee was excellent. Stayed with a group of friends during the Marblehead Christmas Walk Nov. 30 - Dec. 2, we all had a good three days. Would come again.

This is an upscale b&b that is housed in a lovely old mansion in picturesque Marblehead. It's steps from a shady trail that leads to the center of town, and to Salem if you're up to the hike ( it's only a couple of miles). That being said, there are a couple of areas that are below " upscale" and that should be improved, given the rates. First, the towels. I've stayed in many B&Bs in New England with similar rates, and they all provided plush, absobent towels. The towels here are thin and scratchy. Next, the breakfast room. Why not provide a nice outdoor area with tables in a garden setting? There's plenty of room. And that old tennis court in the back, choked with weeds, could use some attention.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. We're sorry that you were disappointed with the quality of your towels. It sounds like we missed some that were at the end of their lifespan and should have been removed from service. We take pride in our attention to detail, but clearly we were not up to standards on your stay. I apologize and appreciate you bringing that to our attention.
We realize that the tennis court area needs refreshing, and we already have plans to do that and to add garden seating.
We're glad that you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again.
