“Unbelievably wonderful!”

This place could not be more perfect. My wife and I stayed in Annie's suite and consumed wine, cheese, bread and wonderful soup (purchased at local market) and watched the fading gray light over the misty harbor. Sleep came easily in wonderful bed facing the same view. Breakfast in bed the next morning consisted of great coffee - fresh, warm muffins, and fresh squeezed OJ. Huge bathroom with claw-foot tub and separate shower and two sinks made getting ready for the day easy. Janet, the owner, is so engaging and helpful. Our stay at Notorious Annie's made Marblehead unforgettable.

Any chance we get to stay at a place with a view of the ocean, we go for it. This place has stellar views of Marblehead harbor and no noise at night. The suites are huge and well appointed--and I mean huge. Notorious Annie's, which is named for a former owner of the house, is a peaceful oasis in Marblehead. We would definitely stay again!

The innkeeper has been in business for several years and has all the kinks worked out. For example, after taking a shower, I realized that I did not know where the bath towels were, but she had anticipated this and the towels were within each reach. A house on the ocean is incredibly difficult to take care of. Hats off to the innkeeper for an incredibly well-cared for place.

Notorious Annie's is within a few blocks of a great grocery store and the center of Marblehead. A number of inns in the area are decorated in a flowery manner, but Notorious Annies is decorated in comfortable manner with oriental rugs, books and DVDs and comfy, clean non-fussy beds.

If this was not enough, Notorious Annie's in a three minute walk to The Barnacle, one of the best restaurants in Marblehead.

The innkeeper was great. She will bring you breakfast each morning. Thank you Janet, for a fabulous stay!

Room Tip: There are only two suites in the inn. Both are AWESOME! Jack's Suite is better suited for a fami...

Wanted a short getaway--- found this place on the internet.Booked into Annie's suite and it was perfect. Beautiful view from small private deck overlooking Marblehead Harbor. The bedroom has large windows, queen size bed and a couple of chairs and a table. Suite has nice sitting room with what looks to be an extra twin bed, a leather sofa, color TV,small dorm size refrigerator, coffee maker and lots of closet space. Nice big bathroom with walk-in shower and an old fashioned bathtub. Large vanity with twin sinks.Located in neighborhood of very old colonial homes and short walking distance from several decent restaurants and small local shops. As far as I know, the only other rental is "Jack's suite" which I understand is larger and has a kitchen. Turned out to be a very nice three day visit. We would go again. CLIFF A.

Room Tip: For a couple who just wants to have a few days away "Annie's "suite is fine.If you enj...

We just had our 2nd annual family gathering at Notorious Annie's and highly recommend. The views from every window are amazing! The Inn is walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. We enjoy the short walk to Fort Sewall providing even more gorgeous ocean views and the quick drive over to the lighthouse. This year the weather on our 2nd day wasn't great but with the spectacular views from every window and the fantastic deck it didn't dampen our enjoyment. The owner, Janet, is great and provides lovely home baked muffins, coffee and juice in the am. The full kitchen and pool table are a plus.

We just made our second visit to Marblehead and had a wonderful time at Notorious Annies! It's right on the water and the views are fabulous. We enjoy seeing all the moored sailboats and Marblehead Lighthouse in the distance. It's really something. There are only two rooms and we've stayed in both. They're both very nice, clean and spacious. If you're looking for the quaint B&B experience this is it! We'll be back!

Room Tip: We've stayed in both rooms. Jack is bigger and has a pooltable and a bigger porch with a wider...

This is a terrific inn, run by the personable and efficient owner. The suites are beautifully appointed in an eclectic and tasteful style, with amazing views of Marblehead Harbor. It's lovely to watch the sky and sea change from morning to night - I took the best nap of my life on the daybed with the breeze floating across and the curtains billowing! Front Street is walking distance to everything and the parking is right in front of the inn. Delightful breakfast, complete privacy and a claw-foot tub provided a wonderful soak after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend Notorious Annie's to anyone looking for a great New England experience any time of year!
