Upon arriving and walking to the front desk, we were more or less told that our reservation was invalid and we drove 5 hours with no place to stay. The reason being, we had to be 21 to check in. Now, we didn't just book blindly and assume they'd let us in because we were at least 18, we had spoken to a representative several times over the phone, as well as an actual staff member of the hotel, who all told us 18 is the minimum check in age. But as I said, the woman at the front desk was indifferent, and more or less just kept saying no. It took me and my brother to stand there and argue with her, to which the managers finally got involved, who finally made an exception given the circumstances. We never shouted or was rude while we argued with them, however the woman was apathetic and continually kept mumbling under her breathe. The two managers were nice, calm, and allowed the exception, although we had to give a $150 deposit because we were paying with cash. The issue being we were never informed and it kind of messed up our financial situation.

The room was very clean, the bathroom and beds spotless, and unlike a previous experience, no funky odors. We were only in the hotel from about 9PM until the morning as we spent all of our time in Boston. Pool seemed and looked clean although we didn't take advantage. At one point there was an empty beer can sitting in the hall, and I was almost struck in the head by a bird that got in the hallway, but both of those aren't significant.
The breakfast buffet was a tad small, but it was free. Although the waffles were slammin

Our only issues were the miscommunication with the hotels reps and staff, or else I would have had a 5 star experience.

Miscommunication between our staff and guests is not something that happens very often here, we try to be clear, and make sure the guest (you) is fully aware of any and all charges, and reservation requirements. However, that being said, an exception was made, because management knew there was fault on us to be taken into account. We are sorry you had a hard time checking in, but we are glad that everything else about your stay was good.

Hotel newly renovated in 2013. Clean, nice staff. With a travel coupon obtained via the hotel coupon book found at rest stops got a 78 per night rate which is unheard of in this location. Thrilled with this one folks. Hotel had a pool, breakfast and free internet. You can't go wrong!

Those coupons can be a life saver, especially after traveling long hours, and on a budget! We are so glad you found us to be up to your standards, and hopefully we will see you again!

My husband and I stayed here for just one night while attending a wedding in the area.
I understand its a Days Inn, and you get what you pay for, but, really, it still should be clean.
There was alot of hair in the tub, and then I started noticing all the hair on the bathroom floor. And since we just checked in, it wasn't ours.
After that, I wore flip flops instead of barefeet on the really sort of disgusting carpet.
The whole place needs a face lift. Get rid of the old fashioned polyester bedspreads too.
The pool was clean, but not even one umbrella for shade at any of the tables around the pool. Just zero atmosphere to make you even want to use the pool area. Like sitting in a parking lot.
Really pretty awful.

Rooms should be clean, you are absolutely correct, however, sometimes in the rush of things, minor details can get overlooked. We will do our best to make sure this doesn't happen again.
