“BOARD OF HEALTH INSPECT ASAP!!”
Reviewed 30 November 2013

This 'hotel' should really be listed as a motel; or not open at all. The rooms are out of date and terribly dirty. There's stains on the comforters, everything smells like smoke, skuffs on the wall, the wallpaper is falling off the walls, and i wouldn't be surprised if the last time the place was cleaned was more than a few years ago. The housekeeping staff can't speak a single word of English; not to mention the attitude coming from the front desk staff. I know this is no high class hotel; but when did it become approoprate for any employee of any company to wear hoodies and sweat pants while at work. I dealt with a lady named Katherine who was probably the rudest employee at any hotel ive ever stayed at. She was snippy, rude, and not willing to help with any questions about the area. Overall the staff is god awful; and so umpleasant to deal with especially during breakfast. Not sure why this hotel doesn't have enough staff to serve breakfast or do the laundry; they have the front desk person doing it ALL.
Now let me start on breakfast. First off, someone should get the board of health because they had milk in coffee coolanders....those are made for hot beverages, not cold. The milk was moldy. They served microwavable eggs and sausage which tasted exactly how it looked; you can imagine. And the manager is so incompitent it amazes me that he was able to be a GM at a hotel. The GM is rude, he doesn't care about health standards at all (moldy milk) and the front desk staff is absolutely terrible. what hotel has people running their operations who can't even put a smile on their face? overall this place is one of the worst properties ive ever seen.

Room Tip: stay across the street at ANY of the other hotels on that road.

I am a Choice Privileges member and stay at their hotels frequently. I needed to stay in Milford, Massachusetts for one night and booked a room at the Comfort Inn. I arranged for a room with a Queen Size bed along with the other Comfort Inn amenities. On the day of of the trip we arrived after 11 p.m. and I gave the clerk my ID and Credit Card which was different from the one I used to reserve the room. We were very tired and happy to get to the room. The room was tiny and had a double bed--not a queen. We were so tired we just went to bed. The next day as we were leaving the clerk asked if everything was o.k. I said no--the bed was a double--not a queen. She said the hotel only has queen beds and continued to check me out. I took my receipt and realized they charged the credit card used to reserve the room and not the one presented at check-in. I was anxious to get on the road so did not mention it to the clerk. The room was clean and the breakfast was o.k. My main complaint was the size of the room and the small bed.

Room Tip: I would check out the room and make sure it is what you reserved and asked for.

The Comfort Inn is the only place I stay when I travel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable, and the breakfast is always delicious. Someone is always available to service my needs no matter what time of day or night.

We were really pleased with this hotel...

Great comfy room...

Good basic breakfast...

Fridge and flat screen tv...

Internet not so great but ok...

Nice bike trail not far (ask for direction) and also nice old fashion quiet cemetery nearby...

Shopping center and restaurant walking distance but I strongly recommend Thai Pepper a few miles away...

Also great fitness center... Safe parking in the back of hotel... Very quiet...

I needed a room in the Milford area on short notice and my local hotel of choice was fully occupied. So I crossed the street to the Comfort Inn. The room was fine and quiet; the WIFI worked; I left before breakfast. I had little interaction with staff, but have no complaints.

The price was a little more than I would have liked, nearly $90, but I didn't have any opportunity to make an on-line reservation.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Milford not expecting a whole lot and that's what we got. The staff especially Patti at the front desk, was very accommodating and friendly. She let us check in at 10:30am on Saturday and check out at 1pm on Monday Yeh! The breakfast was okay, typical continental, except for boiled eggs, fake fried eggs and yogurt. Overall we had a decent stay. The Gym room stunk and had four pieces of equipment so we had to open the windows to get fresh air. Their was no water in the gym and one towel it appears they didn't clean the room daily. Beyond that the room was very small with too much furniture. Overall was a moderate stay, nothing to write home about. But then you get what you pay for :->.
