The location is great for the area yet we would not stay there again.
There was black mold on the wall-papered wall and on the trim in the bathroom.
We didn't notice it as we checked in late after an event and went to bed. If we had seen it ( it was quite obvious) we would have absolutely changed rooms. I am allergic to mold ( as most people are) and was sick the next day with an allergic reaction with cough, congestion etc. My husband was too. I did speak to the check out hotel staff when we left and told them about it and all they said was, Oh sorry, I'll report it!
It was not mold that just suddenly appeared and was obvious along the wall and near the floor. The room should have been closed off and It should have been reported and attended to by house keeping. It is both Disappointing and quite harmful to allow guests to use a room that has a problem like that. I noticed the hall way carpeting was also very stained and worn too and think the hotel should attend more closely to important cleanliness. We were on the 1st floor.

Thank you for informing us of the moisture issue discovered in your bathroom. The problem being reported by you at the desk led to follow-up by myself and the Regional Director of Engineering with Marriott. The Regional Director was able to locate the source and give direction for actionable steps to fix the issue.

We hope you and your husband are ok and if possible I would like to be able to speak with you personally to ensure that is the case. Due to the booking method used, there was no email or phone number for me to place a follow up correspondence.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention to resolve. Joey - GM

We stayed at CY Milford over Thanksgiving weekend. Check in was great. Front Desk was friendly and efficient. The room was great. Bed was super comfy! Pillows were wonderful (usually I hate hotel pillows- we even travel with our own, but didnt need to use them here).
We just missed breakfast the first morning we stayed so we didn't bother to try the following days.
The one weird thing was when we went down in the morning of our check out there was no one to be found. No front desk agent. No one at the bistro (even though all the lights were on and coffee should have been served until 11). We were just dropping off our keys so we just left. We just found it strange... overall good stay and ee woyld go back if wr needed to be in this area again.

Some good some not so good. First the good: Sleep quality was excellent. Quiet room on the 3rd floor and a comfortable bed. Checkout time is 12 noon but we got a knock on the door at 8:30am from housekeeping on our second morning. Luckily I had just gotten up after sleeping in so it wasn't that disturbing but I thought that was a little too early to be trying to get in the room. On the first night we found the tub filled with about 3 inches of water during a shower. Drain plug was open so I don't know what the problem was. I left a note for housekeeping right on the tub informing them of the problem. But no change after housekeeping. Drain still did not work right. The "Bistro" in this hotel was the biggest dissapointment. It was Thanksgiving morning and service was horrible for everyone. We heard lots of people complaining to the staff and amongst each other. Once we got the food, it was all overcooked: The eggs, the hashbrowns, the bacon - everything. To complain about that would have put us back in the waiting mode for a re-do so we didn't complain but didn't finish our $33 breakfast either. The second morning we went out to eat. This was a reward stay for me and thankfully it was only 20000 of my hard earned points and not more because it really wasn't a great stay, just okay.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience and we are glad you enjoyed a quiet comfortable room! I will share your comments with the team on your Bistro experience, Thanksgiving has historically been a slower morning and looks like we learned to staff a little more moving forward as it was busy this year! We appreciate your feedback and share all Tripadvisor reviews with our staff, thanks for writing.

We were greeted with professionalism and warm words so that we felt very welcome. It was like the staff knew us, but it was our first time. To our surprise, they upgraded our room and we did not even need to ask. What a blessing. Self-serve breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh fruit salad. Also there was fresh bread and pastries, eggs, meat, etc.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the back since the view is nice and it is quieter.

.....you should find this interesting and informative. Trying to find this hotel in the dark is a challenge. Even though its right off the highway (Route 495) the signs for it are unlit and shielded by shrubs. Circled a number of times before checking with a sister property (Fairfield Inn) for directions. Arrived late after attending a relatives 90th birthday event, so I checked in and hope to simply wash up and hit the sack. Regretably, sink was completely clogged so had to wash and brush teeth in tub - never, ever tried that before! Next, was serenaded by children running up and down the hall at 11:30p. Can happen anywhere where walls are thin, but I am suspicious. The Boston area is notorious for limited housing stock and so when the state needs to house those in need of housing assistance, they reach out to hotels for this purpose. I have seen this before, particularly around Boston and some time ago confirmed with Marriott headquarters that some of their properties do, in fact, house indigents (though they won't advise travelers when this happens). Can't confirm it is occurring here, but still, the number of children running around leads me to believe......

On a postive note, they did repair the sink in the morning and the complimentary coffee in the lobby is a nice touch.

Room Tip: The extremely long hallways tend to excentuate noise. Choose a room at the far end.

Thank you for your feedback! We apologize for the noise due to the kids sports tournament in-house that stayed with us the night of your stay. While we generally do a great job of eliminating noise when notified it sounds like we did not in your case, for that i'm sorry for the disturbance. We are conveniently located right off of 495 but far enough away our guests are never disturbed by the highway noise. We will make sure any bushes around our signage is trimmed back, thank you for the feedback on that! We hope to have you back again soon and appreciate your loyalty to Marriott.

We are staying for two nights - leaving in the morning. Clean hotel, the front desk service was great and very friendly, the kids love the pool. My one disappointment was coming back to our room tonight and finding the beds not made. It's a small thing, I was not expecting sheets to be changed, but did expect the beds to be made up. I have never had that happen before, I know the room was serviced, towels were replaced, used glasses were replaced... And the tip was gone.

Oh no!! While VERY glad to hear the kids had a great time in the pool, and comments on the clean hotel please accept our sincerest apologies for missing the making of the bed that's an operational oops I can assure doesn't happen and sorry it did to you. I hope you reach out to me personally on your next visit, would like to send the kids some cookies and milk before bed or do something nice to make it up to you, but most important we hope to have you back for your next tip to Milford!
