“This farmers daughter is a peach.”
Reviewed 21 October 2013

Had a great breakfast early on Sunday morning. We had to wait 20 minutes and were not dissapointed. Our server was very knowledgable and attentive. You could tell the difference fresh ingrediants and attention to detail make. The fresh squeezed orange juice was like eating a sweet orange and the sweet potato with apple turkey hash was a creative twist. The decore was modern with attention to be true to the old time look and feel. We will be returning soon for lunch.

“Just misses”
Reviewed 19 October 2013

After one breakfast and one lunch we thought the menu was better than the food. In other words, the choices sound amazing, but the food itself is not outstanding. The high prices (not to mention local ingredients!) promise something better than The Farmer's Daughter can actually deliver.
We had the same server both times, and he was terrible: didn't know the menu, didn't refill coffee or water, and was very slow in getting to us even to take our order.

“can see why people wait for a table”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

We had a very tasty brunch Sunday 30 September. Wait staff were super as the wait for a table was long. We all ordered something different, and all meals were very yummy. I had the special french toast with coconut. Moist, just enough maple syrup. Coffee good, with refills to keep us going. Wish I lived closer as this would be a favourite haunt for sure. Well done, oh...did I mention that the entire place was pristine, well decorated, even the loos

“Good food, but on the expensive side.”
Reviewed 23 September 2013

Relatives who live in Easton took us there for breakfast one Thursday morning and the place was packed. We were lucky to get the last table available, this at 9:30 on a weekday. We all had the Farmer's Choice, i.e. two eggs with toast, homefried and a choice of meat. All well prepared and as you would expect. My only complaint (maybe not justified) was that I picked sweet potato turkey as my meat, which was very good, but along with the homefries, it's too much potatoes for one dish. Hardly any turkey meat in the mix. If I ever went there again, I'd just ask for more sweet potatoe hash and no home fries. With coffee extra, the breakfast is on the expensive side, imo.

“Local flavor”
Reviewed 21 September 2013 via mobile

We arrived on a Saturday just after noon and were seated right away. We ordered the Avo Egg, fruit salad and the special crabmeat topped frittata. The wait was about 20 minutes for our good. The decor was neat and added to the rustic "farm" feel. The food was very good and fresh. Look forward to trying this again for lunch!
