We made last minute reservations over the phone after finding this "resort" on-line. We had to pay for 1 of 2 nights as we reserved, the second night we paid for upon arrival, which was the afternoon of the morning we made the reservations. Once we realized (instantly) that the room was small and outdated and that the 5 minute walk to the beach was actually at least 30-45 mins through trails (as told to us by the guy at the front desk), I went right back to the desk and asked to be refunded for the 2nd night which I had JUST paid for. He said I'd have to wait until morning when the owner would be there. Guess what?? She said no refunds because it says there is a 48 hour notice of change in plans..but I arugued that we didn't even have 24 hours between the time we made the reservations to that point! And, I did point out the deceiving "5 minute walk" to the beach advertising, to no avial. So, we had to stay both nights. The location was nice. Nice views, but the room was too small for 3 (husband and teenage daughter), even tho there was a queen and a twin bed. NO ammenities, had to ask for pillows, daughter's sheets were nasty so she slept on the blanket, and not enough towels unless we walked (no phones) to the desk to ask for some. The walls were PAPER thin..we could actually hear the neighbors in the bathroom and knew exactly what they were doing. Gross. Noisy, tiny and unless you don't mind SWARMS of angry mosquitoes, like we've never seen before, DON"T STAY HERE!!!!! There are so many other choices!!

Nice and clean room.
Comfortable space for dogs.
If you go, make sure you take shampoo, tooth paste and all that kind of things, all they give you is soap.

Beautiful view and fantastic location. Other than that - TERRIBLE!!! We had two rooms. We were extended family including 7 people and one small dog. The rooms are very dated and I believe the beds have not been updated in many years. Not one person in our family slept well. Everyone was very tired and sore the next morning from the rock hard beds. Complete disappointment. Breakfast in the morning was outrageously priced for an average meal.

We were pleasantly surprised by this motel. The room was spacious and clean, the large bed was comfortable, and the balcony/porch overlooking Cape Cod Bay was a treat. The staff was friendly and the breakfast on Adrian's outside balcony was a highlight. We traveled with a large dog and thought that this place was perfect for her with nice walking trails and pet relief areas--plus lots of other dog walkers. This is a no frills establishment, but it was certainly well worth the cost of the room.We highly recommend it for the "value" minded or those requiring pet friendly accommodations.

We just concluded our second year at The Outer Reach Resort. We just love it here. The grounds are well-kept, the rooms are spacious and clean and the views are breath-taking. The people are very friendly and that is a big plus considering some of the Cape's other motels. The location is just perfect. The only thing that would make it better would be to have Internet access. We've already booked our vacation for next year.
