Beautiful, quaint, charming....wouldn't stay anywhere else!! Perfect location, amenities, and staff! Try "Biscuits" for breakfast, and "Giordano's" has the best pizza and a variety of other favorites!! Looking forward to next time!!

We just spent 3 nights at the Dockside to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. This boutique hotel is quite charming. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly hotel staff and a plate of fresh baked warm cookies while we registered. We then were given a friendly tour of the property and our hostess Meghan made sure we knew everything available to us and what the hotel had to offer which is quite a bit. There is a "Beach Room" with coolers, chairs and towels for days spent at the beach and an ice machine. A nice little "Snack Room" open daily from 7 am-10 pm with coffee, tea, snacks, ice cream, yogurt, granola bars, fresh fruit etc.all complimentary. We stayed in room 32 with a great view of the water and the bustling shops. The staff at the hotel was exceptionally polite, friendly and knowledgeable. They even offered to make dinner reservations and knew where all the best places were from ice cream to landmarks. A special concierge service "Loomis" is available 24/7 to text and answer any and all questions you have from where to get a burger to how to get back to town. Another very unique feature. They also have bikes available and bus schedules. If you are looking for a quaint, friendly and laid back atmosphere Dockside Inn will not disappoint. The location is also a plus. It is within walking distance of the Ferry, shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay at this
charming hotel when we visit Martha's Vineyard again!

Room Tip: Room 32 had a great view!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful especially Megan and Carolyn. They also had a nice breakfast room which you had access to all day. They keep the room stocked with snacks and drinks. The added bonus is they have beach chairs and towels for guest use. I am definitely coming back and would recommend the Dockside Inn to anyone.

We just returned from The Dockside. It has even improved from the first time we stayed. They had ice cream and yogurt with their usual coffee and fruit. Megan was fantastic. She offered the hotel IPAD for my son who had to file a newspaper article. I can't say enough about the staff. They were all great.!! If you go to the Vineyard, you should go to Dockside

I visited the Dockside Inn for a weekend in May with 4 girlfriends. The service was top notch, the in was room was pristine and the staff were so friendly! One of the owners, John, took such great care of anything we needed. He drove us to dinner in Edgarton the first night and even came to our rescue and jumped our car and it was his day off!! How often can you say the staff went out of their way to help jump your car?!?! We could walk everywhere in OB and everything else was an easy drive or cab ride away.

Everything about this place was amazing, but the staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our stay one of the best weekends ever! I was blown away by everything this place had to offer. I would recommend this place to ANYONE! great for families, couples, or a girls weekend! Next time I travel to the Vineyard, this is the ONLY place I will stay! I honestly cannot say enough about what a fantastic weekend we had. If you do not stay here, you are missing out!!

Stayed in mid May and had a great experience. Rates were great. Location is great for walking to everything in Oak Bluffs. They offer complimentary snacks, popsicles, continental breakfast, etc. Next time I visit the island this will be my hotel.

Room Tip: Call early as they have a sliding scale room rates. As they sell out each night, the room rates rise...

Our stay at the Dockside Inn was great. The room was as advertised and I would ask for that room again. The service and amenities were excellent especially the solarium where one could get everything from a malted ball candy machine to a pastry and coffee for FREE!! Thank you.
The queen size bed was comfortable, the flat screen TV was a nice touch and the bathroom was clean and well appointed. My only complaint was, that the online reservation amount for the room was not what we ended up paying and that after requesting a reason for this we were not given one or a reply. Please check with the Inn before finalizing your stay for the correct amount for your room.

Room Tip: Our room was on the first floor and easy to access, but a bit noisy. The back rooms might have been...
