“Wonderful 4 day stay!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 October 2012

Brady's B & B was lovely from our first day to our last. Comfortable accommodations, warm & cozy atmosphere and a nice continental breakfast in the dining room were highlights.
Brady's stories and history of The Vineyard were very interesting & informative, as were the many books, magazines, extensive record and DVD collections, as well as, pictures and photos prominently displayed throughout the home.
Brady and his dog, Amie, were friendly and very entertaining and made for a very pleasant and relaxing visit.

Room Tip: Fall & spring try the West Room. Very nice view and roomy.

This was our first stay at Brady's and we really enjoyed it. The house is gorgeous, Brady is awesome and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Our room (the south room) normally has a shared balcony. Lucky for us there was no one in the other room so we had it all to ourselves! My favorite part? It's a toss up between the balcony and the outdoor shower, which for me is the only way to go after a day at the beach. 5 stars all around.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted on the front porch by Brady and his sweet old dog Amie. Brady gave us a quick tour, showed us where to go and invited us to cool off in his outdoor shower or drop off our things and head to the beach. We got the inside story on a lot of MV history, and I think Brady enjoyed hearing about the places we visited when we came back each evening. Breakfast was uncomplicated but delicious. Bradys is decorated with hundreds of framed images of his various interests, and if he's awake, there is opera playing in the kitchen. This was my first time to MV, and Bradys made it that much better.

We stayed 4 nights for our anniversary, and loved Bradys! We'll definitely be back. He's a charming host, lots of great stories, creates a warm and casual atmosphere. We felt at home there. We loved the outdoor shower. friendly dog and evening ocean breezes from the balcony outside our room. Great location.... easy walk to the beach and restaurants in Oak Bluffs and the bus to Edgartown. This B&B is a great value.... other B&Bs in the area were charging $300+ per night, and we paid less than half that. The only tradeoff is we shared a bath with one other room. And, breakfast is no frills, but we're not big breakfast eaters. In exchange for the tradeoff, we saved half the cost and met a great host. I'd do it again.

Room Tip: There's 4 rooms, ask for specifics.

Spent 4 nites at Brady's in Oaks Bluff...we went last year ..and just had to go back.....the Perfect place to stay on the vineyard...we had a wonderful view of the ocean from our balcony in our room ..which has 2 comfortable chase lounges...Brady made us feel so welcomed...it was like being with family...he does this wonderful thing with breakfast..first juice in a crystal Martini glass...but there's something different ...it's not just juice..it taste's like a creamsicle...trying to figure out how he does that...then fresh fruit with yogurt and this wonderful topping...taste like almonds...but a little sweeter ...an there's never the same fruit each day..then if you like cereal... it's different...with granola, cranberries, and other wonderful things... and speciliaty breads from Richards' in Edgartown...found that bakery....it was awsome...I'm a walker...I wake up @ 6 to walk...Brady always has coffee waiting for us...and the best thing is to find his puppy Amiee waiting for you at the bottom of the stairs in the morning...she's the sweetest dog and I'd take her with me in the morning to walk..or I should say she walks me..Each nite at 5pm there's a gathering on Brady's wrap around porch...the guest's gather with a bottle of fine wine, and Brady has such wonderful friends, who sometime stop and we have such a good time exchanging stories and sometimes we all go out to dinner. I've met some wonderful people at Brady's, I just wish I had known about this great place before. Happy 20th Anniversary Brady. ..the BESt vacation ever...thanks Brady for making our stay soooooooooo great! we'll Be back Barb & Rich Mickleton, NJ

Room Tip: All Rooms At Brady's NESW are great!

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the B&B. The home is 2 houses in from the ocean and is a museum of Brady's life. Pictures of his life journeys adorn the walls in every room of his home and he has a story for each one of them! Breakfast is no-frills: cereal, toast, but if you're not a big "breakfast eater," it's perfect. Slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the town center, you'll need to walk (which is a perfect 1/2 mile stroll). We love the walk b/c you get to absorb all your beautilful surroundings. Brady is super friendly and will get you any information you need in regards to getting around or just a great restaurant! The rooms themselves all face different directions (hence the name), & each room has either a balcony for morning reading with some coffee, or a bay window for reading from. When 5:00 comes around, it's time for drinks on the deck. The yard is beautiful for sun bathing or playing a little wiffle ball and is small pet-friendly! (Just ask his beloved dog Ahmee'). If you do go, you MUST try a back-door Donut in the late hours of the night (even if just for the experience), take a trip out to Gay Head Lighthouse (car needed for this trip or public transportation), take a day trip to Edgartown and have lunch at "Among the Flowers," dinner in town at the Offshore Ale Company (you get to eat peanuts, throw all the shells all over the floor, & enjoy a nice glass of home-brewed beer!), Kareoke at SEASONS, ice cream and arcade on Circuit Ave., and of course, take a ride on the country's oldest running carousel! This is a great place to travel for a 4-7 day trip! It's beautiful and plenty to do! http://www.sunsol.com/bradys/

Room Tip: http://www.sunsol.com/bradys/ PERFECT for couples, but also great for a trip with friends!!!!! Will...
