“6 delicious meals”

Pork tenderloin and duck breast were particularly fabulous. Service was helpful and friendly. And we had a very nice table.

A bit pricey.

“A big disappointment!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

We've been here before, so we were excited to go back. As a group of friends/family, we always like to sit at the bar to eat. Our bartender (all men, very friendly) waited on us quickly and gave us menus. There were many, many waitresses just standing around. That was fine, it wasn't really busy yet, but there was one that was standing at the end of the bar, staring at us, in a not very friendly manner. Not only that, when the bartender brought out food, she would smell it, as she did almost every drink he made. That was a real put off. When we got our food, it was below average. My sister had a chopped salad that was very spicy. I had lobster wontons that were extremely salty, but my other sister had a margarita pizza that was ok. Not going back here!

One member of our party's food came 20 minutes after the rest of the table ..desert Was offered "complementary ".. Rather than being comped the late meal...Hence, the disappointing..

“Best spot to have a delicous meal and a relaxing Atmosphere.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

Don't miss Joe's Beach Road Bar! A great year around spot in East Orleans with a new and interesting menu serving up tasty and well-presented meals in a relaxing atmosphere by a warm and friendly staff. The historic Barley Neck Inn should be a must stop for you to enjoy a Cape Cod evening with many choices to satisfy your palate. We feel the quality of the meals has been significantly elevated this season, and we have been enjoying the total dining experience here since Joe and Kathi opened in the 1980's. Our favorite spot....enjoy the experieince!
