“A very restful stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2013

We had a very restful stay with our two teenage children. We visited Amherst and Wachusett Ski Mountain both very convenient to the Farm. Terry was a great hostess, catered to our meal preferences and even took us on a hike. The farm was very warm and inviting. And, the farm was a great thing to experience. Gary gave us a nice tour of the farmyard. All around great trip!

If you are looking for a special time, stay a night here. Experience sleeping in a farm house built in the 1700s, and enjoy meeting and learning about the 24 alpaca residents grazing outside the door.
Terry could not have made us to feel more welcome as we were shown to our room, and invited to make ourselves at home. Rescue dogs Faith and Luke just add to the ambiance of the farm experience. Be sure to enjoy the delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs, toast and jam on the porch.

some good things here, some poor things.....

the house itself was clean but needs some repairs, decorations and new beds, etc.... - it's almost like opening this up as a b&b was an afterthought or a way to make some extra money once the kids left home.....

the breakfast was fine for continental which is what was advertised

going out and seeing the alpaca's was fun in the morning

if you don;t like big, friendly dogs that jump on you (or you have little kids that won't like that) stay elsewhere

this was an okay stay - but wouldn't go out of my way to stay here

We always work hard to accommodate our guests. Our Inn was built in 1742 so it brings with it the antique atmosphere with wide oak floors, post and beam construction, and wood paneling. Improvements have been made to keep our guests comfortable in this colonial style home. It's a place where you can relax, feel at home and be yourself. If we know you have an allergy or fear of dogs we keep them in another part of the home. Our lab / retriever mix dogs are family oriented and friendly as can be.
