“Authentic mexican”
Reviewed 31 January 2014 via mobile

Had a great meal of grilled chicken fajitas, nachos ranchero, and fresh squeezed lime margaritas. The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very casual with murals on the walls depicting Mexican scenes and traditional music playing in the background. We came here because we were looking for Mexican food and margaritas in Pittsfield. We weren't disappointed and will go back.

“God awful!”
Reviewed 7 December 2013

Well, if you have never had good Mexican; either Sonoran, Tex-Mex or Cal-Mex you might not notice, but we spend a couple of weeks a year in Tucson and have a bit of experience.

Really bad!

“ok Mexican Restaurant”
Reviewed 3 December 2013

Their food is pretty decent, just be prepared when you ask for steak something...you're gonna get roast beef. Their chimmichangas and fahitas are great. It's a fairly small bar/restaurant, but have never had to wait, and the interior is decorated Mexican style. Someone said the guacamole was watery and chips stale, but we've never had that problem. The wait staff does seem to 'turn over" quite frequently..maybe that is the reason for some of the problems sometimes. If we were really in the mood for Mexican, we would go back.

“Mostly very good, but a few drawbacks.”
Reviewed 6 September 2013

Pancho's has a good selection of authentic tasting dishes; however, service and some sides aren't up to par.

Their "standard fare": Burritos, Tacos, etc. are all very good and their specialty dishes we've had have always ranged from good to excellent. You should be pleased with almost any main course.

Their sides, particularly the rice, salsa, and guacamole, are not up to snuff, and their tortilla chips are poor at best. More care needs to be taken with this, especially since the chips are often the first thing you taste in this type of restaurant.

Service can also be a bit slow and non-attentive.

No clue why they don't take care of these seemingly easy fixes. It would change the whole experience.

“Don't go, not worth it”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

Worst Mexican food, doesn't even qualify to be called that. Had frozen Margaritas, guacamole and tostatas here. Everything sucked terribly! Even the chips was old and tasted like a shoe. How the heck do you screw up tortilla chips? The guacamole was watery. Yes, WATERY! And the tostatas we're served half frozen.
This place is a joke. Worst spent $20 ever!
