We enjoyed our visit to Plymouth. This replica of the Mayflower was interesting to see. It was a wonderful day to visit. Very impressive to see this and review the history.

We visited the MayflowerII as part of the Heritage Pass. It gave my daughter a glimpse into the passage the Colonialists had to go through when crossing the Atlantic. It was well worth the visit for my daughter to see heat she had learned in class. We went during their slow time so there was no fighting the crowds.

I did not realize that this was the Mayflower II which was a replica of the original Mayflower and had actually made the voyage acrros the Atlantic in 1957. I was expecting a little more history about the origianl Mayflower but it looks like they are updating their exhibits. It was still worthwhile to visit.

We visited on a ticket which gave us entry to the Plantation the following day and the Grist Mill. It was very interesting to talk to the characters and the ship itself is well laid out. I learnt a lot of information here too.

Interesting re-creation. A little overpriced but it goes toward the upkeep I think, so that's ok. Characters in historical dress "living" the parts of the people who would have traveled on the ship and sharing their stories with the "guests"..
