At this time of year most of the restaurants for breakfast are closed mid-week so I stopped in here for a fried egg and bacon sandwich on a Portuguese roll. They also serve a variety of sandwiches at lunch time. Its small but the food is good and the staff friendly. Do yourself a favor and bring home a package of the Portuguese rolls.

We had one of the sandwich plates for lunch. It was tasty but not the best sandwich in the world.

We also tried the fried dough pastry, which was good, but it was served cold. Maybe you have to ask for it to be served hot? If I went back for another pastry, I would ask them to heat it up.

Freakishly delicious food, from sweets to savoury, from breakfast sandwiches through late-night snacks, & everything in between.

Daily visit was a real highlight of all ten days in Provincetown, despite plenty of wonderful sea-sand-town-boats joy with perfect weather days & nights. YES: it's that good.

Big fan of so much here, but special fond memories of their Bolos (cinnamon-sugar-rolled custard-filled doughnuts) & fried dough. And I'm not even usually big on doughnuts. Portuguese bread, apple turnovers, pecan mini-tarts & fig bars also stellar. Can't go wrong. Broad range of excellent.

Centrally located on Commercial Street too.

Been loving annual Lower Cape pilgrimage for decades, for all the reasons to love P-Town, & wouldn't be the same without the very delish Provincetown Portuguese Bakery.

Enjoy!

There are no better chocolate eclairs anywhere. I look forward to having as many as I can when visiting Provincetown. It's my big vacation splurge.
