Far Land Provisions catered our wedding two years ago and it was truly money well spent. They provided an excellent cake and finger foods that were simply amazing. This is what truly helped make our experience so great and we will return to them again and again.

We got some fresh sandwiches (The Ryder and the Head of the Meadow), some prepared salads (potato salad and cucumber salad) and a banana scone from this place. Fully cooked entrees are also available so it provides a wide variety of options to accommodate people with different tastes. Our food was really good and the prices were very reasonable. There is a really nice general store atmosphere inside and we decided to stay there to eat. We loved the place so much that we went back again later in the day to grab a few things to eat on the ferry ride back to Boston. The second time we went, the selection of pastries still offered some interesting options but was much less generous than when we had gone earlier in the day - so if you want the best choice of deliciousness, make sure you go early!

This place is a block off of Commercial street so we almost missed it. Luckily we did not. They serve breakfast and lunch and we ate breakfast there. The breakfast sandwiches were inexpensive, yet delicious. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day for breakfast as well. This place has a great general store feel but serves incredible food. The staff were always friendly. They also sell wine and I can tell you that the wine selection was a big topic of discussion for our group. Most of us are into wine and we were impressed at the high quality of wines they had available, but what was most impressive was that they were very well priced.

They serve great sandwiches here for a very reasonable price. It's also a great place to sit and talk. They also have other foods and desserts so you have to try it out.

P'Town can be an expensive adventure for foodies like us. New York prices abound so we were absolutely delighted when we opted to have a picnic lunch at our nearby lodging (8 Dyer) and stumbled across Farland. It's a market and deli on sterioids with a huge selection to eat-in or take-out. Nothing fancy..just plain good eats and the fixings that really make it work..and at a reasonable price.
Our take-out lunch consisted of two monster-sized roast beef and grilled chicken sandwiches that were hard to hold because of their size. Fresh rye bread and all the freshest of ingredients lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, Swiss cheese and tons of sliced chicken and roast beef. Topped off with a bottle of Red Rooster (California) Syrah and the tab came to about $26.00. What a civilized way to dine! (Their dine-in option consists of several tables indoors and a couple benches and tables on the porch outside.)
If you on a budget or just prefer some of life's simple pleasures, be sure to stop at this P'Town gem.
