We spent Halloween weekend at this great B&B and the owners were amazing. They took care of all of their guests and made everyone feel welcome. We had a northeaster that weekend so it was nice to snuggle indoors while the wind whirled outside. We lost power for some time but the owners still managed to take care of everyone. The breakfast was terrific! This is by far the best place in P town that we have stayed. We travel a lot for pleasure and would rank 8 dyer towards the top of our favorite places to stay.

The couple who own the inn take great pride. Its a very special place which we plan to vist again and will be our first choice when visiting P-town.

Thanks guys for a great stay Randy and Rob

Room Tip: We stayed upstairs in the room that had the balcony, which would be great in summer!

Just spent a wonderful weekend celebrating our anniversary at 8 Dyer. Frank and Tim (and Miss Emma) make you feel right at home. Beautiful, comfortable room with a fireplace. Love the bath bombs. Breakfast is fantastic. We loved Tim's homemade granola, quiche, scones and the smoked salmon. Enjoyed relaxing by the fire with a latte or Wired Puppy coffee. Really appreciate that they were able to snag us a table at Jimmy's HideAway for dinner on a very busy Holly Folly Saturday night. The location is ideal. We never used our car all weekend. The jacuzzi spa was great after walking around town all day. Very much look forward to returning!

A friend of mine who is a yoga instructor, hosted a yoga retreat weekend at the 8 Dyer B&B. We were pampered and taken care of like royalty, the ambience was elegant simplicity and the breakfasts gourmet and a delight for the eyes. The hotel is located near the heart of P'Town so shopping and strolling were inviting. Our hosts, Frank and Jim were most hospitable and accomodating. They truely love what they do. I would go back and have suggested such to my husband.

Room Tip: Some rooms have Jacuzzi's and others a private deck.

I will keep this short and to the point as the specifics have been touched upon in previous reviews. I stayed here with my girlfriend in one of the Penthouse rooms on Columbus Day.

All I will say is this place is run by 2 people that obviously love what they do. At no point did I feel like I was at a place of business. It really did feel as if I was staying at a friend's.

Frank and Tim accomodated us in every way they could, were patient and answered any questions we had and played a part in making my first weekend getaway with my girlfiend a special one.

The place is pristine. The breakfast was wonderful (loved the homemade blueberry muffins and the honey from their own behives was a fantastic touch). The amenities are nice. But I'm all about customer service and that is where they made me 100% satisfied customer.

Thank you Frank and Tim.

Aaron

Trip advisor did not sway me wrong with 8 dyer! The B&B is located in a very convenient spot in P'town, with a comfortable lobby area and fantastic host! We loved the penthouse with the gas fire place and lovely Jacuzzi tub. Oh and Malin and Goetz! My favorite products! The breakfast included tasty artisan cheeses, bagels, yogurt, wired puppy coffee, salmon, prosciutto, etc. Something for everybody! I would not hesitate to stay elsewhere if I make it back to Cape Cod. I only wish they were located closer to my home on the West Coast so I could visit more often!!

Room Tip: Try for one of the penthouses!

This is a lovely and special place to stay - you will not find better. Beautiful, luxurious, spacious rooms and lounge. We felt totally spoilt here - our hosts were so generous in providing every comfort. Big jacuzzi bath in our suite with bath bombs and lovely toiletries was just what we needed on returning from hours at sea whale watching. Divine honey from the garden beehive and hand-made cheese from Vermont featured at the delicous breakfast. Frank, one of the owners even drove us to catch our coach and posted our forgotten camera back to the UK for us. A huge thank you Frank for a wonderful stay.

This was a fantastic place to the point we didnt want to leave the hotel! A fresh, miami-esque design with an outdoor pool, jacuzzi, great breakfast, and we loved the fact there was fruit, homemade muffins or cookies left out to take during the day.
We chose one of the penthouses with a balcony and hottub on the mezzanine level, and it well worth the extra amount. The rooms are on the smaller side but extremely well designed and furnished.
The location is also perfect and easy walking distance to the main street of shops and restaurants.
It is Frank and Tim who make this place exceptional, they are excellent hosts who have thought of all the details from from free bikes for guests, a free DVD collection,to even providing fizzy bath bombs! Its hard to believe they've not been in the hotel business all their lives.
Frank was even lovely enough to drive us to the ferry port on our last morning.
Wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in ptown and hope to come back soon! :)
