The Shiremax Inn was the perfect destination for a much needed getaway. Dennis made the planning easy, affordable, and effortless. The location couldn't be better - right at the end of Commercial st. in the West End. Walking in was like going to stay a a relative's house but private enough to feel like vacation. You can have very quite privacy in the room or be social with other guests on the porch (with really good coffee) or backyard. The bedroom was spacious and cozy. Best of all, pet friendly! Dennis let our small lab-x come along for vacation which made the get away even more relaxing. Our pup hurt her paw our second day and couldn't adventure around with us on our last day out. Dennis her stay in the room well past check-out so we could still enjoy our last day of vacation! Easy-going, friendly, accomidating and courteous, Dennis is just the person to own a B&B. You won't find a better price and you won't find better service in town.

Room Tip: room 2 :) bright sun, privacy, quite, and great sun light (private bath is a bonus!)

First time in Provincetown, Ma was no disappointment. Shiremax Inn is conveniently located close to the beach and wonderful shops and restaurants in Provincetown. I already booked a second stay at Shiremax Inn and can't wait! I couldn't have stayed at a nicer or more convenient inn! Thank you Shiremax Inn for a wonderful stay.

The Shiremaxx Inn is a quaint get away. It is like a home away from home in the wonderous Provincetown MA. Close to the action in town and the bay beaches. The manager Dennis is a joy. Courteous, helpful and an energy and spirit that is infectious. You won't find a better price and you won't find better service in town.

I've stayed at the Shiremax Inn a few times and definitely enjoy staying there. The owner, Bob, is always friendly to talk to and the manager Dennis is helpful on where to eat and things to do around town. The Inn definitely has a "homey" feel to it rather than a modern-high-end hotel but it's Ptown which I love cause it's all part of the experience on the Cape. I love the location on the west end, since it's close to the Boat Slip and easily accessible for tea dance and everything on Commercial St in general. Some of the other perks are: pet friendly (always a plus for pet owners), continental breakfast, living room to hang out and congregate with friends, location, and spacious rooms.

Room Tip: If you're looking for privacy, ask for a room on the first floor as they each have their own pri...

I just stayed at the Inn this past weekend. It was a wonderful experience. The manager was so accommodating and it felt like all of his guests were family. It's a warm and very comfortable place to stay. The rooms were quaint and very clean. The front porch is a gorgeous place to feel the breeze off the ocean and read a book. It's nice and quiet. The location is superb and the perfect distance to all of the shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to all who come to Provincetown.

My stay here over the summer was well.... interesting to say the least. A very helpful but touchy manager. I don't like being groped and waited on outside the shower door. While they may pretend to like the lesbian clientele, off the record they discourage it,except for the weeks more women are in town. I won't be staying here again.

Room Tip: If you don't mind being grab and touched all over, this is the place for you, Its" the Ranc...
