Imagine that you're visiting an older distant relative along with a bunch of cousins that you've only seen once or twice before. You have your own room. It's small but clean with an older print on one wall and a cool lithograph on the other wall. The sheets are clean, soft to the touch and they smell good. Because you're picky about sheets this detail counts for alot.
Sure, you hear the occasional creaks on the stairs or in the hallway, as others come and go, along with bits of conversations. And if someone's getting high in the next room or outside near your window you just might catch a whiff. But mostly, you'll be glad you decided to visit.
The private beach & beach deck are great spots to sit and catch some sun, go for a swim, read a book or share a meal. Just down the road are some of the best restaurants, art galleries and people watching in the Commonwealth, never mind the country.
So, for $60/night for 2 twin beds and shared bath with small fridge outside my door, AND off-street parking, in Provincetown on a late August weekend...you know you've found a gem.
Whoever this older relative is...you'll be back to visit. Of course, there's no common area indoors, so in the winter or the rain you'll have to have a back up plan, but if all you need is a bed, then this is it!
