The Inn at Cook Street is a very relaxing, charming and perfectly located bed and breakfast in Ptown. It is far enough from noisy crowds yet close enough to walk to everything.

From the start, owners John Jay and Patrick will make you feel right at home. The room I stayed was way more than enough for a solo traveler, perfectly furnished and very comfortable, especially after my Ragnar Relay race. John gave me a tour of some of the other rooms and cottages, which are very nicely furnished and offer space for bigger crowds.

The outdoor patio, both front and back, is quiet and perfect for an afternoon BBQ with your friends. I wish I had the opportunity to have used it.

The breakfast is excellent and they are more than willing to prepare anything you want besides the main entree. You can also mingle with other guests if you so desire. I can't wait to be back.

Room Tip: For a larger group, you should seek the cottage with the loft.

Our group of 6 had a wonderful short stay at the Inn. We were served a gourmet breakfast and enjoyed quiet time in the rooms before we set out on our Cape adventure. John, one of the owners, is delightful and welcoming. He didn't seem perturbed that we arrived hours after we said we would due to Ragnar race logistics. Great ambiance and vibe at the Inn at Cook Street, freshly renovated and cozy bed and breakfast. Close to art galleries and the water. Check it out!! You can't go wrong. Don't forget to notice the beautiful chandelier in the dining room.

Room Tip: Just ask and they will describe which rooms are available.

This review is long overdue, we've been staying at the Cook St. Inn for many years. It's a great inn in a great location just minutes from Commercial St. (the center of town). We always stay in the Garden Suite and just love it, its quiet, clean, private, spacious and has it's own entrance. All the rooms are tastefully decorated and the inn has lovely grounds. There is free Wi-Fi, a DVD player, flat screen TV, A/C and a ceiling fan, a mini fridge, an iron and a hair dryer in the room. Movies are available in the common room and can be borrowed. The common room and breakfast/ kitchen area are spacious, comfortable and very lovely. A delicious breakfast is included with your stay and the menu varies, it may include muffins, fruit, pancakes, waffles, breads, juices, coffee and teas that you can eat in the lovely dining room or can take outside into the garden or to your own deck. There is ALWAYS coffee, teas, and goodies such as cupcakes, cookies, and fruit available in the common room for snacking. The innkeepers Lisa and Doreen are always helpful and Lisa in particular is very guest friendly. The only negative I find with the inn is the prices for the rooms but all room prices in Provincetown are steep these days. I highly recommend this inn.

Room Tip: All the rooms are exceptionally nice. Check out the website, rooms are as they appear..lovely.

I stayed at the Inn for a few nights in October and had a great time. The Inn has great details, and is very closely located to the center of Ptown. The innkeepers are all very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend the Studio.

My partner and I are from the UK and we stayed at this brilliant guesthouse for Women's Week and loved it. Lisa and Doreen, plus Jenny, make the place feel like staying at home. The communal breakfast room makes it easy to make friends with fellow guests and Lisa's fab breakfasts and tea tasting sessions were wonderful. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. This is a top notch inn and we highly recommend it.

We were so impressed that we are already making plans to return. The Inn at Cook Strret is at the East End Gallery area. It is immaculate in so many ways...the warmth exhibited by the owners Lisa and Doreen, the cleanliness, the cozy atmosphere, the housekeeping, you can literally eat off the floor, although we never made it to breakfast we heard that it was great and there were always fruits and cookies, coffee and tea for the lazy risers. It is just a 10 minute walk to the center of town on Commercial Street. Just 2 minutes away is a large convenience store where you can buy all that you need for your stay. We stayed in the "Retreat accomodations" and were so happy with the privacy as well as the furnishings and amenities including fridge, microwave, free parking, Cable TV, DVD player and more!!!

I've stayed here before and it's still a comfortable and elegant choice for a few days in Provincetown. The rooms are very comfortable, the location is excellent and the innkeepers are gracious and helpful. Breakfast is cooked to order and the common areas of the inn are beautifully decorated with the innkeeper's photographs. A tea room has been added since my last stay. It's part of the Trip Advisor puzzle that other P-town inns, which are not as nicely furnished or elegant get better ratings.

Room Tip: The garden room is spacious and quiet
