The White wind inn Provincetown continues to be a home away from home. this is an excellent guesthouse well situated, with a hugely impressive porch. Michael Valenti continues to be not just the co owner but a host and a friend. Rob always manages to pop in and say hi. Geoffrey is just a treasure making time for guests, attending to guests with no task too small or too large from booking taxis, making restaurant reservations, to making ones stay so better. Dee and Eddie are wonderful also.
The guesthouse each year undergoes change and this year a new patio, along with additional room changes make ones stay so pleasurable. Cocktail parties to the big carnival day party all make for a fabulous guesthouse.
I love the people, the ambience, from the friendly gathering at breakfast, a lunchtime stroll, afternoon cocktail, followed by the viewing gallery post T or to the late night chat on the porch the location charm of the White Wind is one to be experienced. The guests form friendships assisted by the conviviality of Michael, Rob and Geoffrey.

It was our first White Wind experience and thanks to Michael's warm welcome and hospitality, we'll definitely be back next year. Breakfast was always great and a good chance to meet other guests. The two cocktail receptions during our week were a really nice touch.

The front porch overlooking Commercial is a great place to relax, read, socialise or just drink in the atmosphere of the people passing on the street. The patio garden was a little oasis.

The sitting room was comfortable.

Our bedroom was comfortable, if a little small, but well-appointed. My only grumble was that it wasn't possible to regulate or stop the air conditioning.

We look forward to returning next August to a slightly larger room.

Although we'd visited P'town many times, this was our 1st stay at the White Wind. We had initially been attracted by its wonderful front porch overlooking Commercial Street - and this was indeed a great feature of the Inn that we took full advantage of. The main host, one of the Michael's, was really excellent. A good conversationalist, he made us right at home and had a good eye on the Inn's management. We particularly liked the fact that the Michaels threw 2 cocktail parties while we were there! The room (Quarter Deck) was very comfortable if a little small. When we return - and we certainly will - we'll opt for a larger one. Europeans travelling with larger suitcases take note! It was very clean and maintained that way throughout our 6-day stay. The common rooms (and external area at the back) were also spacious. Again for Europeans in particular, Michael is up and around early enough to ensure coffee is on the go by 7am - and although breakfast is advertised as starting at 8.30, it was usually available much earlier than that. All round - a very good value experience; and as I said above, we will return!

We've stayed at the White Wind multiple years now, both 4th of July week and for New Year's. Michael is not only an extremely attentive host but creates a camaraderie amongst his guests, whether long-timers like ourselves or first timers, couples or singles. The Inn itself is lovely, centrally located, with the best front porch in Ptown overlooking the activity of Commercial Street

Visited the White Wind Inn again in June for what has become an annual get away. I am very happy to say that there are other folks who stay there the same week each year and it provides an opportunity to catch up. Great to have new friends that you see every year ...
The house is a great place to stay -- comfortable and charming ... the staff treats you very well and I have gotten so comfortable that it truly feels like home ...
I return several times each year and always look forward to each visit ... Just love Provincetown and the White Wind Inn!

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the house are a bit quieter and offer a private entrance ... but ... there trul...

Finally I get round to this review, but it's going to be quick and simple...

Thank you to the owners of this wonderful place for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. We'll be back, and will consider staying here again before any other B&B in Provincetown!
The cottage was quaint and comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed and then some. What a beautiful place, and friendly staff! We enjoyed the little parties, people watching from the porch, and how welcome we felt.

Room Tip: The cottage at the back for quiet, or a room at the front for street views.
