“Last Minute Get Away to P-Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 June 2012

My wife and I decided on a weekend away in P-Town to celebrate our anniversary. The problem was we made this decision four days before we were planning to leave. I did some research on the usual sites and made a few calls to see how booked up everything was. I came across The Revere Guest House. Lots of good reviews, the pics I saw looked nice and the location was one street away from the strip which kept things peaceful. I completely lucked out! Gary was very helpful on the phone and managed to get me in for the weekend in two separate rooms. Gary's a great guy and makes you feel very much at home during your stay. The rooms are very nice and very clean (trust me, I'm fussy about this). The property was beautiful and very nicely decorated. You could tell that a lot of thought and effort went in to the set up. We also enjoyed the hot tub.

Two things I read comments about in previous reviews I'd like to address:

1) Sheets: I can tell you with complete confidence that the sheets are the best I've ever slept on in the 40 years of my existence (not kidding) in the queen size rooms. The second night we had a full size bed in the small room and that bed had regular sheets.

2) Parking: I needed to use my car so we took a spot in the lot off property. It was a 45 second walk from the house and was free. Not sure what the person that had an issue with this was talking about.

3)Towels: Turkish Towel company towels are excellent. Ours were very soft and clean.

Breakfast was exactly what we wanted both mornings. Gary makes muffins that are excellent and you get a good selection of other healthy food to eat (hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit and cereal).

We will definitely be back the next time we stay in P-Town and will highly recommend The Revere Guest House to everyone we know!!!

Room Tip: Hot tub not a pool, No fitness center but a beach to run on not too far away.

My wife and I celebrated out 20th anniversary here. What an awesome place! It's about a block from the all the restaurants and activities on Commercial Street...so you're in the middle of everything, yet the street it's on is quiet. Loved all the intricate decor elements...the breakfast room was really comfy, the garden sitting area, etc. Our room felt luxurious, like a lot of time was spent on interior design...but again, comfy. I met Gary the innkeeper, and he seemed to know everything about everything in Provincetown...a huge help when trying to plan something memorable. We will stay there again. The only trouble we had was on the Sagamore bridge because of construction...otherwise the best trip to Provincetown we've had!

Room Tip: There's a room up on the 3rd floor which is right next to the sun deck. We loved the room we ha...

We had a fabulous stay at this gorgeous Bed and Breakfast. The house and surroundings were in tip top shape. The common breakfast room was so cozy that we did not want to leave. The homemade muffins and biscuits were a delightful and delicious treat.
Our room was spotless and very comfortable.
The Revere house is located close enough to town but far enough away so that you can enjoy the peaceful environment. Our host was very informative and suggested good tips on restaraunts and activities. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend the Revere Guest House as a top notch choice while in Provincetown.

Room Tip: The rooms on the top floor have steeper steps.

the Revere House made for the perfect 2 nite/3 day mid-week getaway for our anniversary. Outside the sometimes hectic Commercial Street hub, it was easily walkable to all of downtown. our room over-looking the garden was airy and pretty and light. Breakfast in the separate room downstairs had fresh fruit and muffins, great coffee, and yogurt, juice, and daily papers. Parking was right there on site which was very convenient for driving to our dinner on our anniversary. Gary is a terrific host and shared some interesting stories about the renovations of the B & B. We will happily return another time.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Revere House. Gary has thought of everything in the rooms including a hair dryer placed in a drawer in the bureau. I like that Revere House has a water conservation program & that you can choose not to have new towels every day. The breakfast with freshly baked muffins and fresh fruit salad was excellent. Revere House is a hop away from Commercial Street, but at night is nice and quiet for sleeping. Hard to improve on Revere House.

Room Tip: Our room, 3, is the smallest in the house, but perfectly comfortable. You need to unpack your suitca...

Had a wonderful stay at the Revere House. The room was great overlooking the garden and the common room was a great place for breakfast. This was our first time to P-Town and couldn't have picked a better spot. Close to all the action on Commercial Street, but still quiet enough to be able to relax. David and Gary were both very nice and you felt like a guest in their own home. Decor was great. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone unsure of where to stay in P-Town. The price was right. Much better than many other places in P-Town.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Garden Room #6. Nice Queen Size bed. Nice view of the garden. I don't thin...

A lovely, cosy spot. The owner, Gary, is terrific—a wonderful host. Great common room for breakfast and to hang out. Fresh baked goodies every morning. Love the breakfasts. It's perfect for a quick getaway to just relax. Well located and close to everything. Easy walk to the beach. Went for the first time in February and was back again in April. Am planning my next trip!

Room Tip: The two rooms on the top floor are the best! You pay a little more but they are lovely spaces.
