We were the first to arrive for lunch, and though the restaurant was not officially open yet, we were seated anyway. The genuine down home hospitality is as much a reason to dine at this P-town gem as the food. The lobster salad was delicious, but watch out - the portions are enormous!

The Lobster Pot capped a fun day in Provincetown and area. The ambience was what we were looking for - casual and fun on the waterfront. The service was excellent with friendly staff. The food arrived promptly, was tasty and hot. Would highly recommend the Lobster Pot.

We ordered Lobster the clam bake style. We started with the lobster bisque, which was very tasty, add a fresh cold salad with fabulous blue cheese dressing with lots of chunks of blue cheese, add their famous Bloody Mary with vodka marinated with pepperoni I and green olives. Then cam the feast. A 1 1/4 lb lobster, 6 delicious mussels in a fresh tomato sauce, roasted potatoes, & corn on the cob. It was a meal that I would order again in a second. Congrats Lobster Pot.

We were looking for fresh seafood for lunch and decided to try the Lobster Pot in Provincetown, Ma. It was a decision we did not regret. I ordered the New England clam chowder and whole belly clam roll and my wife ordered the bake acrid. When the waiter brought my chowder he brought my wife a soup spoon too "in case she wanted to try it"' . He offered to split the salad that came with her meal onto two plates as well without us even asking which to us is a sign of a very attentive, alert server. He brought a dish with four different home made salad dressings. My wife had asked if she could substitute the roasted red potatoes for the prix that the fish came with which he assured her was not a problem. The fish and clams were so fresh and the service, fantastic. The only recommendation we would make would be to add something to the salad. It was just a bowl of greens without anything. They could add a little tomato, onion, or anything to make it a little more interesting. There is a nice view of the water and boats to enjoy while dining too.
