We visited the area during restaurant week and decided to give their version of the prix fixe menu a go. Despite not being crowded at all, our waiter seemed distracted and would say he was going to get something for us but would disappear for long periods of time repeatedly. Maybe he had prep to do before the crowds came in? In any case, I'm glad we gave this place a chance because the food was so good! The homemade bread is fantastic as were our appetizers (especially the cod fritters). The main courses were just plain ol' tasty as well as inventive and cooked to perfection. The dessert however was plain and despite being a very generous portion, it just was not as good as the meal. We liked the building/decor and that much of it was salvaged. The quirky antiques and stained glass are cool too.
