“Excellent hospitality”
Reviewed 7 October 2012

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding and honeymoon-total of 10 days. The stay was wonderful-Steve and Dave were so accomodating. When we arrived, we received a tour of the inside as well as the outside decks and gardens. There is hot tub for use by guests outside as well. The view of the ocean is spectacular from their deck. We arrived in our room-guest room 7 and had a complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge. The breakfast is a wide spread in the morning and was delicious each morning. Steve and Dave also gave us very good tips on where to go and what to do in Ptown. We would definitely stay there next year. The only negative thing about Guest Room 7 is it is the only room on the first floor, and not very private-you have to close the blinds for privacy however it was very quaint with a kitchenette. The location of Aerie House is a short walk to all the action on Commercial street, yet a very quiet and peaceful location.

We can't wait to return next summer to enjoy Dave & Steve's laid back hospitality and conversation, delicious hot breakfasts and afternoon lemonade on the new view sun deck, ride their ample and well maintained loaner bicycles through national seashore dunes and streets of P-town (great amenity), and enjoy the ocean and cape views. House and gardens are impeccably clean and peaceful, spaces we always looked forward to returning to for quiet relaxation and conversation with the hosts and other guests.

Great location just an easy two block stroll to the art gallery end of P-Town's main street, just far enough from all the tourist bustle. Long time residents Steve and Dave know the town and region thoroughly, and will help you find restaurants and entertainment that suits your tastes and interests.

Bedrooms are smaller than typical hotel rooms (naturally), but we didn't feel cramped with access to the sun deck, living room, and porch areas.

Although we enjoyed Aerie House during summer season, it must also be a warm and cozy place during crisp fall and winter months, to read by the fireplace or watch DVDs from their large collection in your own room.

Room Tip: Tip: Don't skip staying here if a room with private bath is unavailable; only 3 rooms share 2...

Had an excellent stay at the Aerie House during our summer vacation. We stayed in one of the rooms with no bathroom. The room was lovely and we could see the ocean from our bed. Air conditioning was very much appreciated as it was HOT during our stay. One thing we didn't realize was that while we had no private bathroom, there was a sink and mirror in the room which was very convenient. Sharing the hall bathrooms was no problem at app, and a small price to pay considering how little they charge for these rooms!
Breakfast was served on the patio every morning when we were there and the spread was incredible. Best complimentary breakfast I've ever had and eating on the ocean view patio was lovely.
One day we borrowed bicycles and helmets and made our way to the beaches outside of town - what an amazing experience!
We will absolutely be returning to Provincetown and won't even consider staying anywhere else in the future. Book early!

Thanks so much for your great review. We are particularly pleased with your comments on our value proposition. In a destination that can be quite pricey we make a strong effort to provide a great product at a reasonable cost. In fact we just released our 2013 rates and they will remain unchanged from 2012. Thanks again and we look forward to your return.

Steve and Dave are great. They make everyone feel at home and are very knowledgeable and helpful about things to do in town. We love the restaurant rating system. The free use of bicycles is nice. Dave makes a killer breakfast daily to eat out on the deck when the weather is nice. The views from the deck are great.

We enjoyed our stay at Aerie House even though it was a short one. We wish we had more time. Steve and Dave were great hosts. They were friendly, hospitable, offering suggestions on what to do or see when asked and they know how to make their B&B inviting to their guests. They are very laid back and not overbearing. The breakfasts were delicious every morning, especially loved the coffee-cakes and muffins. Loved your carmelized tomatoes!
Our room, Number 2, was cozy, clean and comfortable, and with a great view.
We were glad that we were able to bring our Mini Schnauzer along because we can't leave him home. He is a true Terrier and a handful! We always look for pet friendly B&Bs and we have not been disappointed yet! And, P-Town is a very pet friendly town! Definitely a great place to stay!

My husband and I have stayed at this B&B together twice over the past two years, and will go back as long as Dave and Steve continue to own this fantastic get-away spot. The location is great, on the east end of Ptown, a short walk to Commercial Street. The property is perched up high on a hill, so you get a great view of Cape Cod Bay, especially from the 2nd floor of the property, which is where most of the rooms are, as well as the sundeck, where breakfast is served daily. The deck is my favorite spot, as it's where you enjoy the incredible breakfast spread, and get to relax anytime you want for the rest of the day, looking out at the water. There's an outdoor hottub, free bike rental, a huge selection of DVD's, and multiple places to sit and relax. We used the bikes almost daily, using the local bike trails to get in a good morning workout before breakfast. The best thing about this place is their attention to detail. I appreciate small touches like the hydrangea flowers on the deck, cute ceramic frogs on the outdoor tables, a bubble machine on the deck, the little bird lamp in our room -- it all ties together to make the guest experience perfect. Our room shared the two bathrooms on our floor, which wasn't a problem at all. The place stays clean at all times, and you just know that the guys who own this place truly care about it, as they do their guest's stay. Steve was also very helpful with restaurant selection while we were there, and they also have several reviews from previous guests on their experience at many of the local restaurants. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay while you're in Ptown, this is it.

Room Tip: If a water view is important to you, be sure to ask for a room with a view.
