Took Whale Watch to see WHALES. Lots of watch, no whales, unless one counts one sighted from far far far away. Got a free ticket to try again. Now a member of the "One Percenter Club." (The one tour out of a 100 when NO whales showed up.) Hmmm. Another 3.5 hours of sitting on a boat in choppy waters waiting, waiting, waiting for a sighting? Hmmm, again. (P.S. Did see frolicking dolphins, which saved the day, somewhat.)

We took the 9:45 trip out. Great boat ride but we really didn't see anything until we were almost back. So they gave us complimentary tix. We went back out the next day and took the 4pm trip. What a difference. We saw numerous fin back whales, an ocean sunfish, and a hunch of jelly fish.

We saw dolphins within 20 minutes of pulling away from the dock! While we only got to see one hump back whale, we did manage to get the opportunity to see it from many different angles. This whale watch allows "well behaved dogs" along for the ride, and our dog loved being on the boat.

Had a great time (even if I started to feel a little sick about 2 hours in). The waters were a bit choppy - so I'd suggest taking something ahead of time just in case (I wished I had - even though I've never gotten seasick prior). So many Minke whales - it was hard to keep track of all of them at 1 point t(hey were on both sides of the boat). Also saw an ocean sunfish and a shark too... We were out for about 3.5 hours, but the time flew by. Boat was clean and staff was friendly & helpful.

My wife and I really enjoyed this whale watch. We probably had a hour show of different whales breaching the ocean all around the boat. Was really impressed with the knowledge shared about these awesome creatures. Our only complaint was it was freezing on this September day. Dress warm, and bundle up!
