It was a last minute decision to spend one night in Provincetown and after a long drive we were very happy to be able to get a room in the John Randall house. The room was small but very clean and charmingly furnished. We were supplied with everything we needed. We were most impressed that although the manager was not there when we checked in, he refunded us$100 the following day as the charge was then the autumn tariff. We don't often meet with such integrity. There was a very good continental self service breakfast included also.

I highly recommend staying at the John Randall House. It's a stones throw from Commercial street; the room I stayed in was clean and bright; the staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating-they bought me flowers for my birthday!! The bed was pretty uncomfortable, and it was not a cheap stay, but no worse than any Provincetown hotel in the summer season. Definitely worth it.

We stayed at the John Randall Inn for 3 nights in August. Bob, our host was very friendly, helpful and above standard. Suggested room for improvement: The Breakfast amenities:We had to take breakfast in a kind of an entry/porch. If there are more than 3 people (which there were) at the same time, one has problems to find a place for the plate - you actually have to balance it on your knees... I would suggest to rearrange and create room for a long table + bench, so that one can enjoy properly everything provided of what is there (which was ok - although there could have been a larger selection of fresh fruit)
The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. The fact that we had to share the bathroom was announced to us previously. The place is centrally located and a 5 Minutes walk from the center of Provincetown....

This is a great place to stay while in Provincetown. Convenient location. It is close enough to all the happenings but far enough away from them for you to enjoy quiet relaxing down time. The place was bright and cheery and the staff was helpful , friendly and accomodating without being overbearing or intrusive. Did I mention the Belgian Waffles with fresh strawberries for breakfast !?!?!?!?! When I went they even had a BBQ for the guests! I made some new friends while watching the Olympics in the living room. I had a great time and will definitely stay there again on my next visit to P-Town.

Everything you could want from a bed and breakfast. Wonderful hosts, very accommodating and friendly. Excellent location, right off the main strip without being noisy itself. Solid price, representing a great overall value. I can recommend it with no reservations.

I had a personal crisis my first night at the John Randall House and Bob, the manager, and Tim, the co-owner, were very helpful and responsive in resolving the issues and making the rest of my stay more relaxing and calming. I look forward to enjoying their hospitality and comaraderie again and fully recommend the John Randall House as a port of call in Ptown.

Room Tip: All have their charm and are appointed differently. The en suite rooms are more attractive to me tha...
