I would like to take the opportunity to express my sinciere appreciation for the outstanding service fron Bonnie G. at the front desk provided at the Proviincetown Inn. Bonnie G went out of here way to secure the accommodiations I requested for my stay. She found me a fantastic room with a beautiful view. I would like to thank her and the Inn for a wonderful stay. I WILL visit this place again in the near future. The Inn is a wonderful feeling of back in time when a customers needs were the Inns first priority.

We had a nice one-night stay in the captain's suite overlooking the bay. It was more room than we needed but the views were fantastic including a pair of seals bouncing around in the waves right outside the room on the morning of our departure . The breakfast buffet was very good. The desk staff was very helpful when it came time to pick out a place for dinner.
On the down side I have to agree this place is way dated. I get the feeling they are just waiting for a CAT 3 to flatten the place so they can start over. And it is a long walk back to the busy section of Commercial Street. And I can only imagine how crazy this place can get in the summer when all 101 rooms are occupied.

We come back here every year because there is no better place to get away, relax, commune with nature & still have all vacation resources available - great food, stunning National Seashore & ocean, culture, art, shopping, walking, biking, night-life....

I am not too picky with rooms and hotels as long as they don't have bugs, serious dirt problems or backed up toilets. This place was great for the location, however I would not stay here again. We were looking for something close to whale watching and found this place. The carpet was filthy and it just felt like the place needed a serious face lift. The room was ok, bathroom was very small, so small that you had to sit on the toilet a little crooked in order to not sit on the toilet paper holder and to shut the door. The bathtub was clean, but I felt that I could not walk around without shoes, so I wore my flipflops the entire time. The bed was clean and since we only stayed one night I wasn't too bothered. They had wifi which was nice. Their breakfast was your average continental breakfast.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Provincetown Inn. The inn's location allows guests to capture the Provincetown/Cape Cod experience. It's close to the beach (Herring Cove) and has excellent water views, which include the historic lighthouses, so you feel like your at the ocean shore and can let go of all your cares and just relax. But, you are also close to Ptown's exciting Commerical Street so you can also experience the excellent restaurants and drink in the creative energy of the town's many galleries and unique shops. The Provincetown Inn has a friendly staff. Bonnie at the front desk was very helpful with making reservations and provided excellent suggestions and recommendations during our stay. We look forward to our next visit to the historic and charming Provincetown Inn.

This hotel desperately needs an update. While it was reasonably clean, the rooms are small and the walls are too thin. The beach was also small and thin. The hotel's pool was incredibly crowded on the weekend and therefore uncomfortable. It appeared that the locals felt welcome to use the pool chairs and facilities, thereby precluding use of the pool by lodgers. The hotel did not provide any means by which to let your bathing suits dry. It was the first beach hotel that I stayed at that did not provide outside showers to clean your feet and body after beach use. All common areas were dingy and uncomfortable-looking. And if there was any trolley to local beaches or into town, we never found it. Beautiful views and location, but facilities need a lot of upgrading and updating.
