“Pre-cruise retreat”

Prior to joining the rest of my family on a cruise to Bermuda, my mom and I decided to go to Boston a day early to relax before starting our vacation. I made reservations at the Hampton Inn and it was one of the best decisions I could have made.

The hotel was clean, the food was great, the staff (OMG, the staff!) was helpful and knowledgeable - especially Chavonne. She was resourceful and anticipated our needs.

Her great personality, 'sing-song' voice and welcoming smile is truly what is needed at the front desk when people are traveling and madness surrounds them in their journey.

Kudos to Hampton Inn for have a great employee on staff!

We arrived at 3:30 pm and were warmly greeted and in minutes had our key cards and information on where to park our car as we were leaving on a 14 day trip. Parking is included with the hotel overnight stay. We ate dinner at the hotel in a pub style restaurant and had a drink after. All the staff were very pleasant and informative. the beds were superb and we slept well waking up refreshed at 4:00 am, At 4:50 we were in a van on the way to the airport with a breakfast in a bag treat. If we had a later flight, there would have been a full breakfast (buffet style) served. On our return our car was safe in their parking lot and did not even require us to go in and tell them we were leaving. Our driver (at midnight) was excellent and informative as well as asking us how our trip went. The cost was reasonable since it included the free parking and I would stay there anytime I fly from Boston in the future. Kettle Travel Agency did a great job in choosing this hotel for us!

Room Tip: Our room was excellent on the 5th floor in the middle. Only stayed once so can't compare it to...

We needed to catch a flight at 6am in Boston and stayed at this hotel because of its shuttle...it was perfect. I will say that if you are driving in and are not use to Boston driving, it was a little tricky.

Arrived early and was checked in right away. Room was clean and beds were comfortable - even the sofa bed! Breakfast was generous and the 24 hour shuttle service allowed us to return our rental car early. The staff was superb - friendly and efficient. In hotel restaurant was good (not great), but a nice addition as there are no restaurants in walking distance. Hotel was expensive, but par for the course in Boston. We would stay here again.

When you stay at a Hampton inn you expect a certain product. This delivers exactly that. Quick check in, clean rooms and nice Buffett breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights prior to a flight as we had another event to attend in the area before flying.

The parking lot is large and well lit. Being in Boston I still felt perfectly safe leaving my vehicle there.

The hotel is in an industrial area but with a car plenty of food options are available within 5 minutes from Wendy's, McDonalds, Applebee's on up.

The shuttle service was top notch. Upon our arrival back to Boston we called once our luggage was in hand and we walked up to the pick up area the same time as the shuttle arrived. In our car 3 minutes later and on our way home.

Kathleen at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to the airport was excellent and even includes runs to local shopping and public transit. Very convenient to Logan--a two minute ride--and shuttles every 20 minutes throughout much of the day. We would stay here again.

We arrived after having been bumped from out hotel in the centre of Boston.

Suffice to say that after being booked into a 5* hotel this was not quite what we expected - HOWEVER the staff on arrival were helpful and kind and were quick to check us in (at gone midnight).

The room was clean and tidy, and although we wanted a king bed we ended up with 2 queens which sufficed for the night.

The bonus for us was that breakfast was free and it was a clean hot and enjoyable affair.

The room was clean and pleasant and the staff helpful.

This hotel does the job - but is not near the City Centre - however it sufficed for what we needed after arriving from London.
