“Great location, but not for Boston city weekend”
Reviewed 12 September 2011

I was staying at this hotel, as I had planned to do a variety of travelling around the location. There is a metro to Boston city, just 8mins walk from the hotel, and the hotel is located just off a freeway, and behind a large shopping mall. There are several large shopping shops and a few restaurants, like Olive Garden etc. which was perfect for my first night without having to travel far.
The hotel offers free wifi, and also has two computers in the lobby for use. With a bar open until around 11pm, it wasnt late enough but the guys were very friendly and let us get a few after hours. Breakfast is make your own for around $9, which was worth it if you can feed yourself a lot! make your own waffels were my favourite! sad but true!
I took a trip down to Plymouth, which was a great day out. And then enjoyed the shopping adventures of Malls around.
I love boston, but if you are only wanting to visit the city, I wouldnt recommend this hotel. But if like me, you like to jump in a car and do a bit of travelling around, this is a great location and the team here were very friendly.

This maybe the worst of all the Marriot hotel chain. The manager was arrogant and rude. The hotel appears to be frequented by couple looking for a place to have sex. We were staying with our young teenager son who had to leave early from Logan airport. We had to listen to people having Sex from next room ( loud sex and volumes of profanities!) for most of the night. Very uncomfortable!!! The manager refused to ( at least ) apologize to us!!!

Stayed at this property for 3 nights during a recent vacation.

The good: Rooms are large. Close to airport without the noise. Close to Revere Beach. Breakfast has a great selection - hard boiled eggs, Jimmy Dean sandwiches, yogurt, bread, bagels, MIY waffle, juice, fruit cups, apples and bananas.

Very helpful staff. Free parking. Free WIFI. Reasonable rates compare to hotels in downtown Boston.

Not so good is the gym which is small and has three well used machines.

Another not so good is the location which is difficult to get to if you don't have a car.

Overall, we had a great experience at this property and will stay here if we visit Boston again.

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing the back of the hotel. Front faces Rt. 1 which is quite busy.

This hotel was busy, mostly tourists, but possibly some business people. Breakfast was included for a great deal and value. They gave us a room not facing Route 1 so it was quiet and it probably was on the other side too. Staff was helpful with directions, etc. Wif available and there are two computers in the business center which were handy but perhaps there should be one or two more. We had a car and so did not test the public transportation. It was a very nice place and great value.

As luck would have it, I stayed here on 3 separate occasions in 8 days, and the experience was distinctly varied.
The first time was a late arrival and we ended up with a dingy room at the end of a long hall.
Four days later I arrived around 6 PM and was greeted warmly and given a very pleasant if generic room a short distance from the elevator. Three days later we again got a nice room, but a reception at the front desk that would be better described as proper than effusive.

Room Tip: I would stay here again but I might be more aggressive about asking for a different room than I cust...

As another traveler noted, there's no shuttle from the airport. For what I ended up paying in taxi fares, I could (and should) have stayed at the Hilton.

Did not really have a problem. Not in a beautiful location but worked for us. We needed a place to stay and they were accommodating. Rooms were nice. Disappointed with small exercise room and only 3 cardio machines no weights.
