We stayed here for four nights at the beginning of our first trip to New England. We drove here from Boston airport in about an hour and found it easily. The hotel is ideally positioned within walking distance of beautiful Rockport. The room was big enough for the us and our two boys. The fridge and coffee machine were very useful (although standard for US hotels). I would for a motel it has more of a country club feel, pretty gardens, lovely indoor pool and tennis courts. I found all the staff to be friendly and geniuinely happy to help, especially Tracey on reception and the two younger staff members who help out in the breakfast hall. The complimentry breakfast was the best we had on our trip and it was a nice for us to all have freshly made 'american waffles' each morning. The town of Rockport was very pretty and lively with lots of nice places to eat. The area of Cape Ann was very beautiful and the state park at Halibut Point is well worth a look. We were sad to leave...

We liked this hotel but it wasn't quite what we hoped for. Tracy (?) on the front desk was great, but unfortunately the room wasn't clean - over the 3/4 days there was always dust on the furniture, the carpets weren't cleaned properly, toilet roll wasn't replaced etc etc.
The breakfast was free which was a nice touch but it wasn't anything special (I'm not complaining as I didn't pay for it).
The pool was nice but really really crowded (they offer free towels though).
May sound a bit strange but I asked for an extra duvet/comforter to be told the hotel didn't have any available!! I can't quite believe this in a hotel of this size.

As you can see from our other reviews we work hard to deliver great customer service as well as clean and neat rooms. We would love if you are back in the area to stay with us again so we can deliver the level of customer service we are used to.

Traveling with a 90-year-old, my wife and I checked into 2 adjoining rooms, Front desk staff was very friendly, and our rooms (both handicapped Kings) were right off the lobby, which made it very convenient. Rooms were clean and well-equipped, and quiet at night, Breakfast in the morning was great, combination of packaged goods (yogurt, muffins) and custom-cooked (waffles, sausage). Will definitely stay again!

This hotel is located close to the town of Rockport and was a great place stay on Cape Ann. The rooms were good and the hotel included a nice breakfast. It is located across from a park and ride location with shuttle service into Rockport center ($1/ride). Although the hotel offered a pool and tennis courts we spent most of the time on the ocean or in town.

A clean, fresh, friendly well located hotel with good facilities. Swimming pool is large, clean with excellent changing, room facilities.Tennis courts, breakfast is generous with fruit, eggs, waffles etc.
Rooms have been renovated , good beds, nice linen. Free parking. outdoor ares for relaxing in front of separate entrances.Quiet efficient air-conditioners. Walking distance to Rockport and Bearskin neck. Good Harbour Beach is an easy drive. A find!

Room Tip: If you are handicapped, elderly, or with lots of heavy bags, ask for a room with parking area to avoid carrying bags up stairs or up a road.
