We really enjoyed our weekend here. The Inn is lovely rooms are very well decorated with attention to details. We stayed in a smaller room but had everthing we needed.Really nice bathroom and bed was very comfortable. The Innkeepers are so helpful meeting your needs. The breakfast was delicious and filling.Good value too! I liked that the inn was so close to town we could walk there. The room was very clean and they had beach towels and chairs for the beach which was nice.I can not wait to return to this Inn and Cape Ann,loved it!

Room Tip: Depending on your needs there are different sized rooms. Our room was in the front lots of light but...

Don't hesitate to stay at this lovely Bed and Breakfast Inn. You will not be disappointed. For the past two years we have driven from Toronto, Ontario to stay for a week at a time in Room 2. We consider it our little cottage close to the sea . How wonderful it is to feel safe, welcome, and to wake up every morning to a delicious four course breakfast ! Debbie and Nick are friendly, helpful and they do their best to make all their guests feel special. We enjoyed the outdoor pool on the property and best of all The Garden Beach was a short walk away for swimming in the ocean. Other beaches were a short drive away. It is a short walk to the town where there are restaurants, some with ocean views, art galleries, antique shops and Bear Skin Neck. We attended performances at the beautiful concert hall facility overlooking the ocean and that was an amazing experience. The railway station is a short distance away and a trip to Salem or Boston for a day's adventure is another fun thing to do. We look forward to returning to this perfect Bed and Breakfast as it meets all our needs.

Room Tip: Room 2 is perfect for a week's stay. It has a fridge, microwave, it's own balcony and separ...

What a great time. The room was very clean and had an updated bathroom. Loved the antiques and décor. Inn keepers and Jim were extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious and enjoyed with good company and conversation with other guest. We stayed in room 2 which had a balcony that we enjoyed each night. A charming place to stay and enjoy the beautiful area of Cape Ann.

The weather didn't cooperate during our two-night stay but as far as everything else an innkeeper might control, these folks showed how it's done. Don't get me started on the breakfasts - OK, maybe just a few words. Delicious. Gorgeously plated. Healthy yet decadent. And the smoothies, well...wish there was one in a fluted glass right in front of me as I write. Debbie and Nick are wonderful, warm and congenial hosts who have found their calling, and this is not a job for just anyone.
We sat with wonderful breakfast companions both mornings and felt perfectly at home.
Our room perhaps was one of the smallest in the inn, which we probably noticed more due to the damp weather that limited outdoor activities. But it was a lovely room at any rate, and even though we're Massachusetts natives, we really enjoyed the fat binder filled with New England trivia - not simply the self-aggrandizing trade mag reviews you find in many B & B rooms.
Bravo. Can't wait to come back.

Room Tip: If you need a larger room, ask about amenities when booking. Call or e-book early!

We had a magnificent 4 nights here in July. Nick and Debbie were very friendly and helpful. Nick talked to us at length one night and throughout our stay whereas Debbie spent each breakfast explaining the different dishes on offer. They included wonderful smoothies, fruit platters and a variety of cooked dishes ( including french toast, pancakes and egg souffles of a highest standard). Our room had a fridge and there was ample parking space. We were about 8 minutes walk from the centre of the town and 15 minutes walk to the train station. We were also a 5 minute drive to Long Beach courtesy of a beach pass given out by Debbie. We were allowed to borrow beach chairs and a parasol which were lifesavers for our pasty skin
in the hot sun! Both Debbie and Nick were very good at advice regarding local places which meant we didn't waste time driving around. The restaraunts in the town were good especially for seafood lovers. The other thing i liked was the peace and tranquility we had just lazing by the pool which was only a few yards away. All in all this was an excellent bed and breakfast!

Spent two days here in early July and can't say enough good about it! I made the reservation very late, while driving towards Rockport. Debbie only had two nights for us but made reservations at another inn for us for the next two nights. The food was superb, the ambiance great and the hosts and guests all very friendly. They even invited us back for their July 4 cookout, although we had moved to the second inn. Do not hestitate to stay here! Convenient to downtown but far enough away to avoid the congestion.

Room Tip: We had a two room suite which was really more than we needed but, oh, so nice! Great for a long stay...

Don't hesitate to enjoy this wonderful B&B. As others stated the inn keepers are warm and friendly and will answer any and all questions. The rooms were small and cozy, but quite comfortable with a lot of careful thought put into the accessories. The towels were soft and fluffy. Make-up wipes were provided, a bogle of water and mints daily and water glasses that were sealed until you were ready to use them. Do take some time to review all the information in the black binder in your room, there is a wealthnof information provided about the inn, your room a d the area. Breakfast was wonderful with fantastic food and great company thanks to other very nice travelers. The only disappointment was the limited number of beach passes, only two so ask first thing in the morning. We wanted to go to the beach again but turned in the pass to be fair to other guests. Enjoy this wonderful establishment.

Room Tip: Remember you are treated like family here. The rooms are smal but you should be out and about enjoy...
