We stayed at the Sally Webster Inn for 3 nights in July. The location is terrific. It is a short walk to the centre of town and the beach. It also has easy access to the road leading to the other towns on Cape Ann. The hosts Suzan and Dean were very friendly and provided a great variety of hot dishes, cereals, yogurt and fruit for breakfast each day. The courtyard and garden behind the house was wonderful place for eating breakfast.
We had "Calebs Room" on the second floor. It had a king sized bed which was very comfortable. All in all we felt the Sally Webster Inn was a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Check the room availability on line

The new owners were very nice.My cousin and I stayed on the ground floor in 2 twin beds. (Beds are very hard.) Room is small. Bathroom is small. I don't know what the rooms on the second floor are like.
Owner prepares some baked breakfast items and fresh fruit and cold
cereals. There is a microwave for heating packets of oatmeal. Coffee
and tea.
( I miss the eggs the prior owner prepared when we stayed there
2 years ago.)
Sitting and Dining areas not air conditioned. My room was.
Quiet area. Off main road. Not a place for children.

Gerry and I had a wonderful time at the Sally Webster Inn! The rooms are charming and cozy, with pleasant amenities and comforts. Breakfasts are hearty and delicious, with light options also available. The garden and grounds are lovingly maintained and filled with seasonal flowers. Dean and Suzan are welcoming, gracious, and attentive hosts. Within easy walking distance to Bearskin Neck and charming downtown Rockport. Highly recommended -- we already booked our next stay!

We stayed here while attending a wedding in the Rockport / Gloucester area. The Sally Webster was one of the few B&Rockport Bs that welcomed our 3-month old son. The owners were very helpful and accommodating, and the decor is just the mix of maritime history and comfort you'd want. There was even had a Pack 'n Play for our infant in case we needed it. The daily breakfast is delicious - and hot tea, coffee, and snacks are available all day long. The B&B has free wi-fi, and an outdoor seating area to enjoy a nice day.

Room Tip: Larger suite on the second floor has enough room for a day-bed or a Pack n Play

Sally Webster Inn is a perfect get away from the rate race of life's demands. It's comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated inside and out with a garden and patio area for relaxing with a beverage. The genuine care of the hosts make you feel relaxed in their majestically located B&B. Just a short walk to the Wharf with all of its shops, restaurants, and fishing boats. And with the Train Station convenient located in Rockport you can make a day trip into Boston. This gem of a place is a must to visit, and we recommend Sally Webster Inn to all our friends.
Julie and Bill from Minnesota

Room Tip: A front corner room in the house 1st or second floor would be my first choice.
