We have passed by this place so many times, always saying "someday" we have to check it out. Well, we did - and what a surprise! It's small and doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's near the beach so suits the area. We received a warm welcome. Hubby had a meat-lover's omelet with cheese, homefries and toast. The entire serving was so large he brought half of everything home. He said both the omelet and homefries were excellent. I had a bowl of homemade fish chowder and a reuben. Big mistake! The "bowl" was the largest bowl I've ever seen and was a full meal in itself - probably double what other restaurants call a "bowl" - and was only $5.50. They also had homemade corn chowder. The reuben was enormous and came home in its entirety since the chowder was quite enough. All servings were huge, and prices very reasonable, especially for a resort area. They specialize in breakfast and lunch only - no entrees. They open at 6am with numerous specials of the day. We did notice that it was patronized mainly by locals and the two waitresses knew everyone by name. Our only regret was not going there sooner.
