This was our second visit to Tomatoes and we were not as impressed as our first visit. The food was quite good but service was lacking; it took a long time for bread and dipping oil to arrive, as it did for our appetizers. At the end of the meal, the waitress disappeared and was seen talking at length with other patrons (not her table but obviously someone she knew), leaving us waiting over 20 minutes for our check. The place also tends to be on the loud side.

My wife and I have been going there for several years now and used to enjoy it but the last few times have been bad . The house specialty drinks that used to be excellant now tast watery and the food portions are smaller and poorly prepared plus the prices have gone up Its a shame to see someplace we allways enjoyed get so bad we never want to go back

We have been dining at Tomatoes for at least 4-5 years and always looked forward to the excellent food. We've noticed the past few times we dined there, that something was "off". But since we've been such veterans we tried it a few more times. We dined there on a Sunday evening and were informed they were out of certain menu selections. Btw, there was hardly anyone dining and it was early in the evening, so it wasn't a rush of people that made them run out. We decided after this weekend’s experience, we are sadly not returning. Too bad. It was once a great restaurant.

Although on the noisey side, the food and service were very good. We ordered the Tuscan Onion Soup which was very sweet and one of the best that I have had. Their garlic bread and dipping oil are addictive.
Although the the pizza we ordered was smallerr than expected, it was very good, except the toppings were on the sparse side. The mixed green sald was large enough for us to split, however the Gorgonzola salad dressing was a little disappointing. For those dining around us the servings looked very large. Would definitely go back.

How hard can it be to cook pasta?
Always had wonderful meals here till this last visit.
Everything was bad.
And someone tell the bar staff there might be a better choice for a Bloody Mary than a rocks glass.
