We stayed for 4 nights at the end of August / start September 2009. We had a wonderful time. Jan and Charlie were incredibly welcoming and hospitable: great breakfasts, plenty of helpful advice of what to do and how to get there, and wine / port and cookies in the evening. The Inn was beautifully decorated, and there's a lovely lounge to relax in at the end of a hard day's sight seeing. The location was excellent: there are a number of decent, reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance, and the boardwalk out across the marshes to the beach is only a 10 minute walk away. We used Sandwich as a base to explore Cape Cod - a day trip to Provincetown and another to Martha's Vineyard were both great fun. We also drove back off the Cape and went to Plymouth from there. We can't recommend it highly enough - it was easily the best place we stayed during our trip.
