We had dinner in the restaurant, which had the effect of dining in a greenhouse with huge plants and a view of a waterfall. Food was excellent. Wines were well-priced.

My husband and I were married in April and held our wedding reception at the Dan'l Webster Inn. I can't say enough about the wonderful service we received from the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

The food was incredible! Everyone at the reception raved about the food! Many of the guests were from out of state and were excited to have such great seafood!

We had the reception in the conservatory. It was such a beautiful setting for such a beautiful and romantic evening.

Thanks so much for making our wedding reception so wonderful.

Dinner is served in two different rooms. We were in the place called The Tavern. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was very good.
Be careful: The menu changes already at 8:30pm to a reduced one offering Burgers, Salads, Sandwiches and Pizza.

We went twice in our short stay in Sandwich and were not disappointed on either occasion. The food is excellent and good value for money and the staff are VERY attentive and knowledgable. You won't go wrong here.

We had a total of four entrees, three salads, and two desserts on two consecutive nights. The first
night's dinner was very disappointing. The beet salad which was to have featured roasted beets , soft cheese, and delicate greens seemed to feature a cold, non roasted red beet. The seafood special which was a lobster tail over a bed of risotto with celery root, was truly awful. The risotto was cooked to a mushy purée. It should never have been allowed out of the kitchen. The lobster tail was tough. The lamb was average but its fruit and jus reduction tasted as if it had used a bouillon cube. Day two was better. The filet mignon was quite good. The salmon was well cooked but the rice was a glob of over cooked rubberiness glued so tightly that no grains could be separated. Again, this should never have been allowed out of the kitchen. The arugula salad was very good and the accompanying focaccia was excellent. Whoever is manning the kitchen needs to hit the "quality control" button to avoid sportiness. Service was excellent both times. All meals were attractively plated.
