“Authentic New England Cabin Style with Modern Comfort”

Husband and I stayed here when we flew from Mississippi to Cape Cod to celebrate our son's engagement with his fiancee's family and friends. Charming AND easy to "live" here. Microwave and Refrigerator in room. Two armchairs, good TV. GREAT lighting in the bathroom which is really important for women who want to put on makeup. Also, iron and ironing board, for pressing out the travel wrinkles. Good Hair Dryer. Comfortable bed, room heater which adjusts easily. Good shower. Spotlessly clean. Home made pastries and good coffee for breakfast. Best of all a truly friendly and helpful staff, from the front desk to the chambermaids. Our weather was rainy but nice outdoor area would be great for walking or sitting in the gazebo. Also area for younger children. Other, younger out of town guests stayed here with us and it was fun for them to be able to hang out together in each other's "cabin."

Room Tip: Room 7 seemed ideal. Our group had 5 rooms which adjoined each other in this area.

Visited for just one night on our Cape tour as rated by other TA visitors.

Very welcoming; simple but adequate. Somewhat old-fashioned and wild turkeys roam in the garden but with only about a dozen rooms, it's fine. Clean and well-kept.

Good TV in room but Wifi was weak.

Not really close enough to walk into Sandwich (which is lovely - try walking the boardwalk) and quite a few places to eat on the map given to us by the proprietor.

Breakfast was simply coffee and a muffin in reception.

We stayed for 3 nights in August had had two rooms.

Staff were friendly at all times and really helpful giving us advice on where to go.

The rooms were large and well maintained. Furniture is dated but adequate and we had really good nights sleep. the bathroom was well equipped and very clean.

We didnt use the pool but my daughter enjoyed playing on the little playground.

We appreciated the morning muffins which were delicious and we were able to get hot drinks throughout the day. We also made use of the free internet in reception which was speedy.

The location was quiet and it was easy to get back onto the main route through the cape.

We stayed one wet night at Country Acres. It was lovely hearing the rain but being so cozy and warm in the comfy bed. ( we had 2 double beds - I found the first a little uncomfortable so I slept In the second ) the furniture is dated but we found it quite cozy. Nice surroundings with plenty of trees and gardens.

We rented three rooms for a one night stay - in town for a family wedding in sandwich center. Check in was very speedy, and the location is great if you want to be close to town. The rooms, though not updated aside from the flat screen TVs, were quaint and comfortable. Parking was not a problem. Only drawbacks were the thin walls and one of the rooms had a full trash bin in the bathroom upon check-in. Otherwise, it was great!

Husband and I spent three nights here. We really enjoyed the quaint setting and fantastic location. Great spot to launch from for exploring the cape. Warm muffins for breakfast each day, Yummm! Neighbors were a little noisy, but I sleep in ear plugs so no problems at bedtime.

After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we booked 2 rooms here for a night. The rooms are very basic but adequate, and the bathrooms adequate wuth shower only. The biggest probem is the paper-thin walls. We could hear every word our neigbours were saying, and their TV kept us awake. I suppose for price it's OK but for a few dollars more we've stayed in some great places.
