We had been going to the Cape for many years and always drove by the Hearth and Kettle assuming it was one of those old fashioned country diners that served overpriced, greasy food with not many options. We were very surprised to one day look up the menu online and realize they had a lot to offer...organic and vegetarian options, heart-healthy options and even gluten-free breads and pancakes. We had a nice breakfast there with our family, friendly service and everything was reasonably priced. We'd go there again.

This restaurant should be ashamed to claim they have good food. At best.....fast food is better. The only good thing about this place is the staff. They should go up the street to 99. It's much better. The beef was tough the vegetables chewy. I came here because the reviews were good. Never again.

Coming here off season and looking for food on a late Easter Sunday was a challenge but we found this place at 9 pm. Great variety from breakfast, burgers, & salads to old-fashioned big meals with seafood and beef. I liked that there were sides like sweet potato fries and brown rice. The waiter, although very sour, was professional and polite. It was very clean & bright. Recommended.

The last time I was at this Restaurant before this visit had to be in the early 90s. The place seems the same, the food was still good, prices very reasonable, positive experience. I will go again.

Go for the breakfast in the summer if your seeking a good meal without a wait. The breakfast places on cape cod in the summer can require a wait of 30 to 60 minutes. No wait ar this place, and the place serves a great breakfast. Decor is a little outdated and dark, but a good place if you can overlook that.
